NP I use the pill pocket things and hide the meds in there and he eats it all. He eats anything. The vet only gave me one dose of painkiller which seems strange.

With the police man, I'd made myself a cup of tea and left it on the table. When he came in he saw the cup and said, "oo, is that for me?" and I couldn't bear saying it was mine

I am here tamobhuuta. I had an ransom note from Royal Mail through my door today.

Yes 3 packages. Trouble is I don't know who to blame as the ransom note was due to incorrect postage.

Oh dear, I guess you have to ring them?

No once I have had my package I will contact the sender and ask for my money back. They're all ebay purchases so can leave negative feedback if they don't pay up.

I think I know which eBay seller didn't pay the correct postage as I received a parcel this morning and the only other one I am waiting for has been sent recorded. I am off to the sorting office tomorrow to hopefully get it sorted. I also received an postcard from postcrossing and a brand new recycling box and bag (after mine got lost about 2 weeks ago due to the storm) today.

Post is excellent - until it's stressful!

Have you had your MRI now Tamo? How was it?

I hope you get things sorted out with your post Dawn. How can you only have a recycling box? Is that not too small? Do you have multiple boxes for different things? We have normal bins for our recycling.

Crookshanks is taking his meds so that's good. I've managed to squeeze out three doses of the pain killer but he's still licking his wound and I think I'm about to run out of the pain killer. The hole looks a bit bigger than it was but hopefully it will heal up soon.

My sister's cat was like that, he totally rejected food with meds hidden in it. He's got better about it now.

The MRI was fine. Noisey! But they play you music in special headphones.

What was the music like?

I didn't get music when I had my MRI!

I'm glad Crookshanks is doing ok. Hopefully he's just keeping the wound clean rather than being in pain from it.

It was just Heart radio.

Lindsay I have a box for plastics and tins, a separate box for glass plus a paper bag recycling wise. Oh and a food recycling box. My glass box and paper recycling bag went missing in the storms because I live in a windy spot. Fortunately I had a spare of the paper recycling bag but not the glass box. So I requested a new paper bag and glass box the day it went missing and it got delivered today. I also had some food caddy bags but they weren't missing just running low and it usually take an month for the bin men to give them. So I am alright now for a while until the next windy day comes.

I have been for coffee with my friend. Then walked to Poundland for an gift bag and went to pay the ransom note from Royal Mail. Contacted the ebay seller and got a refund.

They are characters from the sitcom Keeping Up Appearances. My signature pic shows 2 of them and my user title is a quote from the show. It's my favourite TV programme.

I have discovered that there's a Keeping Up Appearances face mask too. Wales is getting rid of face masks at the end of the month otherwise I would get it.

England has got rid of facemasks too but people are still wearing them (me).

I won't be wearing mine unless it's on the bus. I find my glasses get steamed up. I also have trouble breathing whilst climbing stairs whilst wearing an mask. Then I panic because I cant breathe which makes the situation worse. That's when there's a lift option I take it.
