tamobhuuta 17-02-2022 10:49 AM

That sucks, I saw you were back in hospital.

I'm ok, had a lovely sleep.

Cacoethes 17-02-2022 10:50 AM

Yeah. And having a lovely jaunt over to a&e now.

That's good!

tamobhuuta 17-02-2022 11:10 AM

Fun times. I hope they take care of you (in a&e and on the psych ward).

Cacoethes 17-02-2022 11:41 AM

Thank you :)

one_step_closer 17-02-2022 02:06 PM

I hope things settle for you Beckie.

Having a good sleep is the best, I'm glad you slept well Tamo.

There's been hailstones here and I think another storm is bringing snow on Friday.

tamobhuuta 17-02-2022 03:22 PM

Exciting weather. It's just grey here.

one_step_closer 17-02-2022 04:13 PM

I hate when it's grey, need a bit of sunshine at least.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 09:28 AM

Morning everyone

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 10:36 AM

Good morning :) how are you?

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 10:54 AM

I'm feeling better thank you
Had a pretty good sleep

How are you?

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 11:03 AM

That's good. I am ok. I was a combination of really anxious and sleepy at the same time so I had PRN which really helped.

Are you up to much today?

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 11:08 AM

I'm glad it helped :)

Not really
Had a shower this morning
Don't think I've got any deliveries coming today
So just the usual boring day

How about you?

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 11:23 AM

Parcels are awesome, sometimes I think of just sending myself boxes. But obviously real parcels are better! I am looking for a new dress, I look forward to the post when I find the perfect one.

Today I am considering a walk, but not in this weather.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 11:38 AM

Yes it's always exciting!

I wouldn't go for a walk in this weather!
My family are meant to be flying back from Spain today :ermm:

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 12:26 PM

Good luck to them!

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 12:37 PM

I think I might have a rash.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 01:02 PM

You should probably call your doctor about it

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 01:09 PM

Probably, I will keep an eye on it.

What are you up to?

one_step_closer 18-02-2022 01:35 PM

Afternoon everyone. How is your day going so far?

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 03:04 PM

It's ok, wind meant L couldn't go to work so we're watching Sleepy Hollow. How are you?

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 03:20 PM

You're on lamotrigine aren't you tamo?
If you have a rash, you need to tell a doctor today.

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 03:49 PM

Thanks for the advice, but i reckon it's ok, my sister has had the lamotrogine rash and this doesn't seem to be the same. It's not itchy or spreading. If it gets worse I will definitely call the doctor.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 04:30 PM

Ok, if you're sure!

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 04:33 PM

I am :)

You ok?

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 04:39 PM

:)

Yeah. Spent a while in the sensory room with a couple of staff so feeling a bit more settled

one_step_closer 18-02-2022 04:48 PM

Take care of yourself Tamo and get checked out if you need to.

I'm glad you're feeling more settled Beckie.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 04:51 PM

Thanks lindsay

How are you?

one_step_closer 18-02-2022 04:54 PM

Are you doing much this evening to try and stay settled? I know it's not that easy sometimes though.

I'm just feeling like I'm failing at life and can't cope with much.

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 05:12 PM

Hugs if wanted osc.

L's school has a sensory space, they sound great.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 05:19 PM

I'm listening to music atm

Sorry to hear that lindsay

one_step_closer 18-02-2022 05:40 PM

Thanks.

Are either of you in the area where the wind is extra wild? We just had a weather warning for snow but it didn't come to much.

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 05:44 PM

Just very windy here.
I haven't been outside.
But from the work group chat there have been walls/roofs/traffic lights down.
And power cuts. Work had to close a few hours ago because of a power cut

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 05:44 PM

It's pretty windy here but I'm in the south so probably not as bad as other places.

one_step_closer 18-02-2022 05:46 PM

Hopefully it'll calm down soon. I do like storms a bit but I heard someone died because a tree fell on them so that's not good.

tamobhuuta 18-02-2022 05:49 PM

That's not good :(

Cacoethes 18-02-2022 05:49 PM

Not good at all

not_so_insig 19-02-2022 08:45 AM

Morning all! I beat Beckie.

It wasn't terribly windy where I am yesterday. Known worse storms as I could watch TV through the dish. It was rainy though and managed to get to town as I met my friend. It's my birthday on Tuesday so she had a present for me. Plus Lorraine has sent me something. Also my birthday is a palindrome date!

tamobhuuta 19-02-2022 10:37 AM

Hi insig, how old are you going to be?

I am quite spasmy because it's a couple of days since I had lorazepam.

not_so_insig 19-02-2022 01:20 PM

I am going to the grand old age of 41 tamobhuuta. I am an oldie here. Sorry you're spasmy.

tamobhuuta 19-02-2022 01:36 PM

You're very old :p even older than me! (I am 31)

one_step_closer 19-02-2022 02:26 PM

What's a palindrome date? Are you planning anything for your birthday?

Is Lorazepam a regular med for you or PRN Tamo? Spasms must be annoying. I get akathisia and that's annoying enough.

tamobhuuta 19-02-2022 02:41 PM

It's PRN, I usually need it every other day but it does vary.

How are you?

not_so_insig 19-02-2022 04:39 PM

A palindrome date is a date that reads the same forwards as backwards Lindsay. I am going to an antiques and collectibles place plus out for tea on my birthday.

one_step_closer 19-02-2022 05:02 PM

Tamo, do you take the Lorazepam for your spasms or when you're distressed or both?

Oh that's interesting Dawn, I'd never heard of that. Sounds like some good birthday plans, I hope you have a great day.

I'm just getting worked up about every tiny thing.

tamobhuuta 19-02-2022 06:22 PM

The lorazepam is for anxiety but a handy side effect is it reduces the spasming. I'm on lamotrogine for the spasms and that will be increased soon under order of the neurologist.

Is there anything you could think of osc that would help? A way to say no to all the thoughts? Sounds stupid but a puzzle type thing. I won't lie, sometimes the best thing for me is TV or an audiobook.

Cacoethes 20-02-2022 08:33 AM

Morning everyone

tamobhuuta 20-02-2022 10:42 AM

Hola! How are you?

Cacoethes 20-02-2022 10:49 AM

Bonjour! I'm struggling with some stuff but feel physically better than i did yesterday

How are you?

tamobhuuta 20-02-2022 11:37 AM

I'm ok. I was thinking of walking back from mass later but it's forecast to chuck it down. I will walk tomorrow.

Would it help to talk to staff?

Cacoethes 20-02-2022 11:44 AM

Yeah the weather isn't great!

Probably not
They'll just tell.me I'm delusional again and that just annoys me
