I got up at 10.30am which is my goal for a while so I'm feeling good about that although worried it was just a one off. I don't want to be in bed any later.

I had the EEG and it was fine but today I have been very spasmy, I couldn't make my lunch!

How annoying!

Argh I hate this! I need to wash the gunk out of my hair but I don't want to spasm in the shower.

Can someone do it over the sink for you?

I need to go upstairs and attempt to wash my hair over the bath too. I seem to have intermittent warm water but not enough for a shower!

Beckie, I can call the plumbers in an emergency but I'm not deeming this an emergency so will wait until Monday if it doesn't fix itself by then.

I could ask L. Hopefully the spasms will get better now I've taken PRN.

It's ok. I've borrowed a plug in heater. It's taken since 9:30 this morning to get from 12 to 16 degrees though... My bathroom towel rail can be turned on separately from the heating so that's working, I have a heated mattress protector so I'm toasty at night and the water isn't frozen so I can still wash my hair. It can wait until Monday.

I showered and I didn't spasm :)

we dont have any central heating and the pannel heaters have been broken for about 3 years, our landlord sucks. It's 13c in here at the moment, and that's with the fire on :blink:



usually doesn't bother me as I just dont seem to feel the cold, but for about 2 weeks now I have been CONSTANTLY freaking freezing and my hands/feet keep turing blue... I think it's my meds




Anyway, moan over :laugh:

What's wrong with your fire?

Not sure, just doesn't seen to provide much warmth. There is an unused backboiler still in place behind it abd and wonder if it absorbs some of the heat... rarely get above 17-18c in this room. Usually we have fan heaters to help a little but electric prices are silly right now so rationing them

We own many blankets :laugh:

Tesco are selling Easter eggs. I want one. I'll maybe get one as a reward if I'm up at 10.30am most of the week. I'd be embarrassed if people saw what I was buying though!

I nearly bought a bag of mini eggs yesterday, Lindsay. Kinda wish I had. I don't think anyone would judge if you bought an Easter egg now! And I think that would be an excellent getting out of bed reward. =)

My hot water randomly fixed itself enough for me to have a shower which has improved my mood massively. Heating is still off but a shower was much needed.

I feel too unwell to occupy myself with anything
I can't really do anything apart from lay in bed, trying not to be sick.

Beckie, is this a med they want you to continue taking or was it a mistake? I hope the horrible effects pass soon.

I'm glad you had hot water for a shower NP. Do you think your heating will magically sort itself out too? Are you going to get in touch with someone tomorrow?

Nah I don't think the heating will sort itself out. The hot water may have been a fluke. I'll email for a plumber tomorrow as soon as I get into work and they'll be able to look at it the same day.
