Cacoethes 11-07-2021 01:12 PM

It is! I was still in and out in under 10 minutes though!
I could do my asda shop blindfolded!

I hope it goes well for you

nonperson 11-07-2021 02:07 PM

I hope you'll enjoy your meeting, tamo.

Wonder what items you'd end up with Beckie if Asda changed the shelves one day...

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 02:19 PM

I dread to think np!
I don't like it when they change things!

nonperson 11-07-2021 02:24 PM

Me neither. I nearly had a breakdown in Sainsburys yesterday when I thought they'd run out of tomatoes again but they'd just been moved to the other side of the aisle. =P

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 02:32 PM

How dare they!
If they changed where the coke zero is I'd probably also nearly have a breakdown!

nonperson 11-07-2021 02:43 PM

I'm sure your coke zero tracking instincts would kick in and direct you to the right place.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 02:44 PM

Most likely!
I can practically sniff it out at this point XD

nonperson 11-07-2021 02:51 PM

I think that theory should be tested. Wear your mask over your eyes and see if you can find your way.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 02:55 PM

Haha!
It would have to be at a quiet time so I a) don't bump into loads of people and b) don't get sectioned XD

nonperson 11-07-2021 02:56 PM

Yeah maybe not the wisest thing to try given your past ;-)

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 03:02 PM

Yeah probably not :tongue2:

I'm watching taskmaster.
Series 10 episode 6!

not_so_insig 11-07-2021 03:03 PM

Though technically it's legal to wear an mask in the supermarket now.

nonperson 11-07-2021 03:08 PM

Only for another week? Here, anyway.

You're speeding along with those Taskmaster series!

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 03:11 PM

It's because I have no life np :tongue2:

Job interview tomorrow though!
So fingers crossed for a less boring life soon!

nonperson 11-07-2021 03:24 PM

Is it no life or is it that you're a very committed individual!? Use that as an example in your interview. ;-)

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 03:28 PM

Ah I see what you did there!
Very good!
I will use that!

nonperson 11-07-2021 04:09 PM

It's all about twisting the truth. But please don't use that! Or at least give another example of commitment XD

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 04:13 PM

Haha!
I'm just going to go in with some buzzwords.
Adaptable, work well under pressure, can work well alone or within a team etc.
I do really want this job!

nonperson 11-07-2021 04:16 PM

You might need some examples though to prove those things.

Is it the Pets at Home one?

Also I think Microsoft Teams is pretty easy. I use it for work.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 04:22 PM

Yes...I will think of some!
My last job as a care assistant I experienced a whole load of things so I can pretty much just use examples of things that happened then!

No it's Hollywood bowl. Seems like a fun place to work!
And there are some cool benefits. Though I'm not sure what a healthcare cash plan is lol

not_so_insig 11-07-2021 05:08 PM

I have been productive. Washed my hair and wrote a poem. It's in my r/v if you wanna read it.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 05:12 PM

Me too dawn!
I've done washing, taken the bins and recycling out, tidied up the living room, been to pharmacy and asda and I'm about to put the clean bedsheets on and will shower later!
Productiveness for us both!

nonperson 11-07-2021 05:14 PM

Just googled because I'd not heard of it either: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/in...re-cash-plans/

You pay money in every month then when you need medical stuff you claim from your allocated amount of money. Kinda the same way insurance works for most other things.

nonperson 11-07-2021 05:16 PM

Whoa, you busy people.

And you've just reminded me I forgot to turn the washing machine on.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 05:20 PM

Ohhh ok that makes sense!
That might be useful actually because if I work I won't get free dental care etc. anymore!
And dentists can be expensive!

Oh no np! Have you switched it on now?

nonperson 11-07-2021 05:21 PM

I have, yep. On the third load now.

not_so_insig 11-07-2021 05:23 PM

You lucky person having a working machine.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 05:25 PM

Good good!

nonperson 11-07-2021 05:49 PM

Yes, a working machine is a privilege for sure. I'm still convinced this one's gonna go kaput any time soon, it's getting so noisy. Been saying that for a couple of years at least but it's still hanging on.

I do only have half of a working oven however.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 06:34 PM

Your ovens been dodgy for a while now hasn't it np?
When are you going to get it fixed?!

I've just cleared up my bookshelf.
Doesn't sound like a lot but it was an even bigger dumping ground than my coffee table!
I got rid of 3 bin bags full of rubbish from it!

nonperson 11-07-2021 07:08 PM

A month or two now? The top oven works ok so I'm just using that instead. Probably won't get it fixed because that involves adulting that I'm not sure I can do. =(

Whoa, well done. Tidying up is very satisfying.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 07:15 PM

Yeah adulting is hard.
As long as you can still use it!

It is indeed!
And I've put the clean bedsheets on, showered and put clean PJs on! Which is also satisfying!

nonperson 11-07-2021 07:32 PM

Yeah I'd be properly screwed without an oven at all.

Totally on a roll! =o

The satisfaction of clean bedding only usually lasts a couple of hours for me before the cat walks his muddy feet all over it >.< I know the solution is to lock him out of the bedroom but then I wouldn't get night time cuddles!

I just rescued my washing from the line as it started to rain and now need to go back to work >.<

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 07:36 PM

Haha! The joys of living with an animal!
The cuddles are amazing though!

Oh no!
My phone has been saying it's going to rain for 3 days. Still waiting!

My mum has just posted a picture of Jasmine wearing the very same England top that I wore to an England game circa 1996!

nonperson 11-07-2021 07:45 PM

There was rain yesterday. And some due tonight and lots tomorrow afternoon here I think. This is a good thing.

Oooh she's retro cool!

Are you watching tonight?

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 07:53 PM

Its been dry as a bone here! But rain is definitely in the air

She is!

Nope! I will randomly google the score throughout the evening but I don't really have any interest in it.
I'll be glad when it's all over and done with!

nonperson 11-07-2021 08:44 PM

As soon as I went out the heavens opened so I think the rain is in for the night now. Poor footballers are prolly gonna get wet.

I'm going to watch just because. Might not stay awake.

Got a bit annoyed earlier that the the crowd started singing Football's Coming Home during the Wimbledon final... >=|

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 08:55 PM

It's raining here now too!

That's not very good! 2 very separate events there!

nonperson 11-07-2021 09:02 PM

Yeah it was just like... I know people are excited for the football but let's focus on one sport at a time please. Can't be having rowdy football fans at the tennis!

ENGLANDD GOOOOAL, after 2 minutes, lol.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 09:05 PM

Exactly!

Seriously?! Wtf

nonperson 11-07-2021 09:22 PM

I know, absolutely unbelievable.

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 09:31 PM

It is!
Maybe England will win after all

nonperson 11-07-2021 09:57 PM

Did you have to say that!? =X

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 10:09 PM

Oops!

I kinda want Italy to win tbh.
I feel like with the way England fans generally behave that we don't really deserve it

Elmer 11-07-2021 10:10 PM

At least somebody here is watching.

nonperson 11-07-2021 10:16 PM

Well maybe the fans don't deserve it but the players and coaches and whatnot do, because whatever they've been doing is clearly working well.

nonperson 11-07-2021 10:16 PM

My cat's not interested in the slightest! He's fast asleep. =P

Cacoethes 11-07-2021 11:07 PM

That is very true!

Haha!

Love it Lio!

nonperson 12-07-2021 09:55 AM

Morning all. How's everyone?

My wasp sting seems to be getting more swollen... :ermm:

Cacoethes 12-07-2021 10:42 AM

Morning np!

Hmm. Maybe go to a pharmacist to see if they can suggest anything?
