I've just had a very enjoyable shower. I'm not sure what was enjoyable about it. I just really felt good being under the water. Random.

I don't have symptoms or anything but they're doing tests in my town for people who can't work from home so it is reassuring that I'm not spreading it around work without knowing. I think we can get tested twice a week o.o

Yeah the staff in hospital got tested twice a week.
Patients tested once a week.
I hate covid tests. They are horrible!

Our L has to do the test because she works in a school, it looks very uncomfortable.

Did it myself. That probably made a difference.

Yeah. When nurses do it they proper shove it down your throat and basically poke your brain when they put it up the nose

That's exactly what I was hoping wouldn't happen. The guy kept telling me to stick it further up my nose though. Tonsil swabbing was weird, I found it hard to tell whether I was poking enough.

It is hard to tell when you're doing it yourself.
That's why I always preferred the nurses doing it. Just in case I did it wrong!

Yeah I'm at work. And all weekend and next week too, which sucks. Although the at weekend I'll only be a couple of hours each day.

I have a low tolerance for annoying people I think (or my standards are far too high) but we do seem to have a particularly special selection of irritating people here.

I am confused about fudge, I think I got some here and was expecting it to be squishy but it was hard like tablet. Then I got some dairy fudge and it was squishy.

I think it depends on the fudge! Some is smooth and creamy and others are quite like... crunchy I think is the description. Like granular but chewy? Not hard though.

I bought some Scottish tablet because I'd heard people talking about it and wanted to try! The other flavours were.... Cherry Bakewell, death by chocolate, heather honey and white chocolate. For me. And some more traditional flavours in the other gift box. =P
