I had chips and curry sauce.

I had quite a busy day. Lots of walking! We didn't really know what to do so walked from Kings Cross to Holborn (I think) found a nice pub to have a Sunday roast in, we were close to the British museum because it just happened to be there and wandered round, saw some mummies which was pretty cool! Then ended up in Covent Garden and went for coffee. Then I got the bus back to kings cross. I'm not used to doing so much in a day!
I really enjoyed it though! Nice to catch up with Cam after so long!

I have been out for my birthday meal. It wasn't as good as usual. But my paranoia only kicked in a tiny bit which was good.

That's the main reason Lillie! I told Cam how much I spent on fags in a week and she was really shocked! And she then listed off how much I'd save in 6 weeks and then 12 weeks etc. And it really hit home how much I really spend on them! And I'm hoping to learn to drive this year so the extra money will be needed!

Yes the service was slow despite it being quite empty, the meat on the Sunday dinner was quite fatty and there was no hand cream in the ladies loo (normally there is). Also 2 things had run out of the menu (nothing I wanted though) as well as stuffing for the Sunday dinner menu.

We noticed an new pub on the way so we might try there instead next time we are in that area.

That doesn't sound good. Hopefully the new pub will be better.

Oh and this wasn't the pub's fault but there was a table nearby with two very loud people on it. One person kept on using the f word a lot which IMO wasn't totally necessary and it didn't add to the atmosphere.

Urgh, it's annoying when people are loud.

Hate people like that in pubs. It's just not necessary!

Yes I am thinking of writing a TripAdvisor review but I am only thinking of giving it 3 stars. If everything had been spot on apart from the loud swearing person I would have been awarded it the five stars.

I don't watch Call the Midwife. Can't stand crying babies so an hour of a programme about babies is my idea of hell.

I am awake. It's very windy and I am having difficulty watching telly. Thankfully there's nothing interesting on the telly until Pointless comes on and I have a fair few unwatched recordings.

I agree that there's nothing in the box. It's good you have recordings to fall back on.

Or if I am bored I have plenty of dvds. Not sure what I am going watch atm.
