It was busy and I think I had a mini panic attack, not really sure as I've never reacted quite like that before. Just feel super tense now... Had some food so hopefully that will help.
Your mum is amazing. =) |
Oh dear. That sounds really upsetting. I hope that eating something is helpful and that you start to feel less tense soon. I could do a song and dance for you if you need distracting! :D
Yeah, she is. |
I have a cat on my lap now so that's helping a lot actually. You can still do a song and dance if you like!
What're you going to be doing with the rest of your alone time today? |
I'm glad that your cat is keeping you company and that him being on your lap is helping. What a good egg your cat is. :)
*dances* *sings* *does the limbo* I'm not sure. I massively just want to get into bed, but that probably wouldn't do me any good. Currently just listening to music and browsing the internet. :) |
He was upstairs and came down to see me. It's giving my hands something to do (and he's not annoyed by the constant stroking yet) =)
Nice limbo skills! Music and browsing sounds good. =) |
Aww. He's such a sweetie! It's good that he's letting you stroke him. :) What does he do when he's had enough?
I am excellent at the limbo. :P I've just shoved some food in the oven. Only a pre-prepared chicken thing that comes with sausage and stuffing in the same tray. Tasty food for lazy people. :P |
I don't think he ever has had enough! Some of my old cats would lash out a bit if they'd had enough and I hadn't realised but Geordi just loves attention so much.
Mm, it might be for lazy people but it actually sounds really nice. I might do some pasta later. |
Aww. <3 Hooray for cats who like attention!
I've had one before and it was really nice. From Asda. :) They're not cheap, but nice occasionally. I sometimes fancy a roast, but am terrible at cooking them and they're so much effort for one person. Pasta sounds good. What kind? I have an Easter egg. :D My step-dad's parents got me a Teasers one. :) |
I have some tagliatelle and pancetta and pesto, so I'll just throw all that together.
Hooray for Easter egg! How much is left? ;-) |
Sounds delicious! :)
Haha! All of it so far. :P Though Mum did only drop it round today, so ask me again later on. :P |
Teehee. =)
I'm going to go play some piano for a bit. Feeling a lot better now but could do with something calming to focus on. Apparently it was International Piano Day last Thursday. |
I hope that playing the piano helps you to feel even better. I'm glad you've settled now. :)
It was? Cool! Enjoy playing. You'll have to let me know what you decide to play. :) |
Afternoon everyone.
Nonperson, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Playing the piano sounds like a good idea. Aubergine, how are you? I hope you enjoy your dinner :) |
Eska! How are you? :)
I'm fretting about work tomorrow. Dinner was lovely. |
I'm back. My hands were getting too cold.
I plaaaayed Einaudi - I Giorni... To Zanarkand from Final Fantasy... errr... Jurassic Park main theme... Fairy Tail anime theme... and Fur Elise. Can't play the full songs yet but I'm getting there. Hi Eska. =) |
Oh cool! Well done. :)
What's next? |
Oh cool! Well done. :)
What's next? |
What's next for songs to play? Or what's next for the evening?
Just sitting watching Big Bang now. |
Aubergine I’m sure work will be fine - is there any particular reason you’re worried?
Nonperson I love that music, especially the Einaudi. I’m ok, I’ve just got home from work. |
*peeks in*
|
I'm sure I absolutely butcher Einaudi when I play it... and I've had to dumb some of it down a little because my fingers just don't want to play what the sheet music says they should. =)
Relaxing evening tonight, Eska? |
I meant next for tonight, but both if you like! :)
Yay! Another Einaudi fan! I'm fretting because I have really bad back and neck. My job involves standing for the whole shift. If I don't feel better come morning, I don't know if it'S ok to call in sick or not. |
Zombie! :)
|
It would be perfectly ok to call in sick. You really don't want to make back/neck stuff worse.
|
hullo eggplant and nonperson
|
How come I don't have a nickname?
|
Hi Zombie, how’s life?
Aubergine, it would be fine to call in sick if standing would be painful! I agree with nonperson. |
its hard to come up with a nickname for nonperson :-p
hi eskamo, life is good thanks :-D |
:tongue2:
|
Thank you. :)
I'm glad life is good, Zombie! :) Person is a Person! :) |
Hey everyone
|
Hi Dawn, how are you?
|
Hey Dawn. How's it going?
|
Yello :)
|
Hey Lillie. How's it going?
|
Could be better, a lot better but I have pizza.
|
Me too! Yay pizza.
|
*hug for Lillie*
I feel rather envious of your pizzas! |
Thanks aubergine :)
Mine has just burnt my gob :( Im silly and impatient. Can I wear the same thing to a 2nd interview at the same place? |
As long as it's clean, I don't see why not. :) Congratulations on the second interview!
|
Coolio. I can't see what they possibly have left to ask me but they did say the practice manager might want to meet me.
And I have another one at a shop on thursday- the shop seems to predominantly sell shiny plastic things that appeal to 16 year olds and I'd be so bored there but it'd be more compatible physically. And I have had a missed call from the coffee shop across from work probably about the position I applied for. Like buses, wait forever and 3 come along at once!! |
Is that the trainee dental nurse position? Lillie, you're like an interview-getting machine! :D
|
Yes its the dental receptionist/trainee nurse one :)
Haha no I just have applied to literally hundreds and its finally paying off. I also lowered my standards as I just need to get out of my current company. |
Oh cool. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)
|
I’m wishing you all the luck and sending tons of good interview vibes, Lillie!
|
Thank you both :)
How was your pizza eska? Is your back any better aubergine? |
It was good, thank you :)
|
Glad your pizza was good, Eska! What did you have on it?
My back is still really painful, Lillie. :( |
Oh no :(
Have you tried both heat and cold? Have you changed pillows or your mattress recently? Yoga can help as do those stick on heat pads andvoltarol/ similar if you don't want to take anti-inflammatories orally. Might be worth seeing the GP though if it doesn't go away soon? |
No changes in pillow or mattress. Got stick on heat pads, naproxen and co-codamol (went to OOH GP yesterday). Think it might be where I've been so tensed up for such a long period of time. Dad said he'll pay for me to see someone privately if it doesn't go soon. I don't think I'll need to see anyone, but it's made me feel a bit better knowing that the option is there.
