Nomnomnom curry!

Sketchy 23-01-2018 09:47 PM

It’s tasty. While it was in the oven I had a shower and washed my hair. I’m in a fresh onesie.

Sketchy 23-01-2018 09:48 PM

It’s a ready meal.

Sketchy 23-01-2018 09:48 PM

Molly is doing well. Full of mischief. How are your kitties?

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 10:24 PM

Hey guys!
Watching holby and still have lots of leftover Chinese!
I am full!

Whats everyone up to?

zombiehunter 23-01-2018 10:27 PM

Sketchy 23-01-2018 10:28 PM

Hope you enjoyed your Chinese.

It’s so annoying. Holby city isn’t on until 10.45pm in Scotland.

Sketchy 23-01-2018 10:28 PM

Hey zombie!

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 10:37 PM

Hey zombie!
Howare you?

I still have prawn toast and chicken balls!

Wow that's late Lorraine!

zombiehunter 23-01-2018 10:42 PM

all good here thanks coco *takes some prawn toast and a chicken ball* :-p YOINK

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 10:50 PM

Haha!
Luckily I've got plenty to spare :p
They gave me loads!!

zombiehunter 23-01-2018 10:51 PM

do your takeaways down there do a munchie box??

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 10:57 PM

I dont know what that is!

zombiehunter 23-01-2018 11:00 PM

well basically its a pizza box filled with food depending on what takeaway you get it from

so an indian one will have chips onion rings donner meat various types of pakora or whatever the Chinese tend to do salt and chilli munchie boxes (my personal fave) that has salt and chilli chips salt and chilli onion rings ribs chicken wings chicken bites spring rolls it varies from takway to takeaway

Sketchy 23-01-2018 11:02 PM

I think the munchie box is a Scottish thing.

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:07 PM

Yeah sounds like a scottish thing!
Does sound awesome though!!
But who gets chips with an Indian?!?!

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:08 PM

Me sometimes!

zombiehunter 23-01-2018 11:08 PM

in Scotland you get chips with everything :-p

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:10 PM

Do you Aubergine?
Something I've never really thought of!

Haha! I can imagine that zombie
Along with deep frying everything!!

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:13 PM

Have you ever had battered chips?

nonperson 23-01-2018 11:14 PM

Mmmmmmmmmmm prawn toast.

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:15 PM

Nope I've never had battered chips!
I've had a deep fried mars bar though!

Prawn toast is so good!

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:16 PM

Person!

nonperson 23-01-2018 11:16 PM

I have a real weakness for prawn toast.

Heard that battered chips is a Wolverhampton thing.

nonperson 23-01-2018 11:16 PM

Aubergine!

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:17 PM

I think battered chips are a black country thing. My dad's side of the family are from there. Yum!

nonperson 23-01-2018 11:18 PM

Mmmm. I really like tonight's topic of food conversation. Battered stuff!

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:21 PM

Battered chips do sound good though!!

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:22 PM

Battered mars bars are nice! No idea where I'd get one down here though!

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:25 PM

The only place I know that does it round here I don't live near anymore.
Maybe you could just take a mars bar to the chippy and ask them to chuck it in the deep fryer for you!?

nonperson 23-01-2018 11:26 PM

The only place I've ever seen that does battered Mars Bars was a chippy in Falmouth that I saw at Christmas! Was too embarrassed to get one though cos I was with my parents.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:30 PM

Oh that would be cool if I could, Beckie! I like battered pineapple with syrup!

not_so_insig 23-01-2018 11:42 PM

In Wales it's quite common to have half chips half rice with your curry.

Sketchy 23-01-2018 11:48 PM

My sister does that Dawn with Chinese curry.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:50 PM

I like sweet and sour chicken hong kong style. If I didn't feel so nauseous I'd want chinese! Made do with chicken soup though. :'(

Sketchy 23-01-2018 11:52 PM

Sorry you are feeling nauseous Aubergine. Hope you feel better soon.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 11:54 PM

Thanks Lorraine. I'm hoping sleep will help.

Sketchy 24-01-2018 12:18 AM

I hope so too.

Think I’ll head off to bed now. Goodnight everyone. Sleep well.

Cacoethes 24-01-2018 12:28 AM

Im off to bed too
Night night all and sleep well!

Aubergine 24-01-2018 12:33 AM

Night night. :)

chinahorse 24-01-2018 09:19 AM

Morning all. Why are mornings so morning-ey? It's just wrong!! :-P

Aubergine 24-01-2018 09:22 AM

Morning Lillie. I know what you mean!

chinahorse 24-01-2018 09:33 AM

Good morning aubergine :)

We have rain, squall and heavy gust, yay I don't wanna go to work :(

Aubergine 24-01-2018 09:40 AM

Oh no. :( How far it is for you to go?

We have rain too! I haven't opened my curtains yet, but it sounds as though it's tipping it down!

Cacoethes 24-01-2018 03:02 PM

Hey guys
Raining heavily and windy here too.
My trainers and socks got soaked!
But putting on dry socks is one of the best feelings ever :p

How are we all today?

Aubergine 24-01-2018 03:06 PM

Hey Beckie!

Got to love dry socks!

I'm swinging in my hammock under my heated throw. Listening to music and waiting for my Uncle, as I need to go to Asda to get a prescription for me and something for a friend, and I'm too much of a coward to go alone. :P You need to teach me the art!

Cacoethes 24-01-2018 03:17 PM

Sounds very cosy!
It's really good your Uncle is going with you.
No shame in not feeling up to going alone!
I only do because I literally have no one to take me!
Geographically, my family are the closest but if I asked my mum to drive the 45-50mins to take me to asda, she'd just laugh!!

one_step_closer 24-01-2018 03:26 PM

Afternoon.

It's dry here at the moment but it sounded very wet and windy through the night. I got absolutely soaked yesterday.

Lillie, I hope you didn't get too wet and work is going ok.

Beckie, hope you dried your feet properly before putting on your socks. Also make sure you put your trainers somewhere where they can dry so they're not still wet when you go to put them on again. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Aubergine, hope Asda isn't too busy and you get everything you need.

Cacoethes 24-01-2018 03:29 PM

Hey Linsday!
How are you?

Yep dried my feet and trainers are on the radiator!

I like being nice and cosy with a blanket and hot chocolate and watchng the rain!

not_so_insig 24-01-2018 03:30 PM

It's dry here but very cold. I am freezing. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi in the leisure centre was absolutely bloody freezing cold. I reckon that it was because their heating had been not working. I didn't wash my hair because of that.

I have workmen above me.
