I live in a really old flat, so I often get spiders at this time of year. Thankfully they don't bother me.

The spider one though there's some psych theory that we have an innate fear of spiders (same for snakes) because evolution wise those humans went and poked the poisonous spider/snakes didn't live as long as those who stayed well away, and the only reason in this day and age some are okay with them (despite majority not being okay with them) is socialisation and the fact that in a lot of ways due to housing, technology etc these animals are less of an immediate threat. *geek moment over, sweeps out with a cape top hat and knowledge ;P*

Apparently theres an episode of Peppa Pig that teaches kids that spiders are not to be feared. But it had to be banned in Australia because in Australia, spiders are to be feared very much!!

Yeah, a few kids from work have been...not my ideal holiday destination for a child, but then I suppose if they're happy that means mum and dad are happy/can relax a bit!

I love Harry Potter, but I haven't read it for a good couple of years. When I was training, I did a project on it with the kids at Halloween and we all made wizard hats after I read some of the first book to them. I need to read them again!

Haha, here is the only place thats ever heard of it...! The Daily Mail gave away the whole series of books about 5/6 years ago, they were my favourite books as a kid (apart from Harry Potter).

Milldred I used to adore The Worst Witch growing up!

I have all the books on my iPad, but still getting used to teading on an iPad. My girlfriend put a whole load of books on mine for me, including the Worst Witch series but I think I still prefer holding an actual book.

Ron is indeed awesome, but my favourite Weasley is Ginny. JK Rowling lives not far from the girlfriend but I haven't bumped into her yet :(.

Film Ginny pisses me off too, I think she's just all wrong for the role. I don't like the films anyway, I'm much more of a book kinda person. I don't think I've ever seen a film adaptation that I liked more than the book.

Haha, I shall bear that in mind :P. The street she lives on (or has a house in anyway) has a specific name, I won't say here because it'll give away location but its so heavily guarded that commoners are arrested for walking down it! Colin Montgomerie lives nearby too, but he's mot so famous anymore.

I'm trying to persuade myself that I actually like crisps as I don't have anything else in :P definitely need to do a food shop today when support worker materialises.

I'm sat in the office at work trying to do planning but RYLing instead...my head is mush today, but its only the second day back at work after having 6 weeks off so I'm thinking its a symptom of that.

I don't mind food shopping. Or washing dishes, or any chores really. I find them quite relaxing, although I can put them off occasionally too. I think its because I live at home, desperately trying to prove to my mum that I'm "well" enough to live on my own. You'd think being in charge of 25 3 and 4 year olds would do that, but apparently not!

It must be hard to adjust to work after having that much time off.
