Maltesers, stars, counters and buttons.
Good selection there.
I never think to buy malteasers but love them when someone gets them for me.
It really is **** isn't it!
Think i might just go to bed lol
I always used to hate maltesers and i have no idea why
They are actually delicious
I never think to buy them either come to think of it
Tv is **** lately especially during the day. What did I do as a kiddie when I had 3 and a half channels?
Dark chocolate Maltesers FTW BTW
So awesome they deserve double cool abbreviations.
Morning. How's everyone?
I don't feel very well today
How are you?
I also don't feel very well today...
Have you got a quiet day ahead?
Oh no :(
Yeah nothing to do today
Might do asda later if i feel up to it
Try not to put any pressure on yourself. Just see how you feel.
I'm just going to potter and do laundry and decontaminate the house from the smell of charcoaled potato (which I can't smell but it will be there...)
Yes i will
I don't do well with not doing anything so today is going to be tricky!
I've had to stop myself from booking a pilates class. Even though I'd for sure throw up if i attempted it :eyeroll:
Ah yes. I read about your hash brown incident!
Maybe you can still "do" things interspersed throughout the day. Like, sit down for an hour and do some googling or top shopping and then get up and do some cleaning or some laundry and then sit down again while that's doing its thing. That's sometimes how I function a nothing day. Little bits at a time but you end up feeling like you've been busy.
Yep, don't drink and use the oven, kids.
Sorry you guys aren't feeling great.
That's a very good idea np
I'll try and do that
I was once banned by my cpn from using the toaster because i hadn't slept in 2 days and nearly set the toaster on fire
How are you today?
Eep. I think that was a wise move.
I wouldn't have fared any better with the toaster either. It gets stuck down sometimes and because I can't smell I wander off and it's burnt when I remember to return to it! And that's when sober, lol.
I'm ok. We're going over to my sister's for her birthday this afternoon and I was getting all worried in case it was a proper party, with strangers. But I was sensible and asked her and she said it's just us. I'm glad I asked :)
Sounds like you need a new toaster!
Sounds nice tamo! Hope you enjoy it :)
Nah it's not broken enough quite yet!
That does sound nice, tamo. Will there be cake?
I'm going out later too to see a colleague DJing.
Have fun np!
Do NOT burn any more potato products when you get back!!
I plan to eat them all before I go out this time. Not sure I'll be drinking tonight but... who knows. It's one thing going to the very quiet and familiar place we were at yesterday but this is proper out out so... I may just hide in a corner somewhere.
Out out can be daunting!
It's the hen do next week and I'm both excited and freaking out at the same time!
I couldn't honestly tell you when I last went out properly but I trust and like the people who I'm going with so I know they'll look after me. They looked so excited when I said I'd come too. And surprised, they had to keep asking if I really meant it lol.
It'll always be better than you think it's going to be.
Beckie, i bailed on my friend on her hen night because i was legit shitting myself because our common friend couldn't make it. They all Said it was okay but i still feel guilty and it's 7 years ago. But i was scared my fear and awkwardness would have ruined it for the others.
I don't drink so being sober on a night that traditionally inspires a lot of alcohol also made me brick it!!!
Morale of the story is, people forgive you if need to cancel. But it might take a while longer before you forgive yourself.
I hope you sister's birthday Will be nice, Tamo!!!
And i hope going out Will be fun and feel safe, NP.
And Beckie, i recommend lots of cola and crisps or chocolate. But on the more serious note, mint flavoured stuff helps ease the feeling of nauseua!!!
I went shopping a wee while ago and i was legit freaking out for leaving bun bun in her cage, alone!!! O_O
She forgave me. And then she bit me when i tried to stop her from sticking her head down my cola glass…. She has mighty sharp teeth!!!!
Ginger helps with nausea too. Toast and rice cakes are my go to for something bland that seems to settle my stomach a bit.
I bet she does have sharp teeth!
Geordi bit my foot the other night in bed. Totally unprovoked. That was not a nice feeling either!
Sounds like you have some good friends np!
That's my fear also zurg!
I do really want to go though
And I've already bought an outfit and new makeup so I have to go really!
Ouch! Bunny bites hurt!
I have been to asda and bought ginger biscuits to nibble on.
Cat bites also hurt!
I hope you feel better soon NP and Beckie. Look after yourselves.
I got up late because I was up early for my psychiatrist appointment yesterday so that's annoying. It's mainly annoying because I had loads of housework to do so have not long sat down.
That's a reasonable reason to get up late though!
Well done for doing the housework
My top came and it is perfect! I tried it on with my jeans and it looks great. Very pleased
Also. A layer of the glass in my oven door spontaneously shattered. I heard a horrific noise but thought it was the baking tray falling down but nope. Glass everywhere!
Can't really find the strength to deal with it right now tbh
That must have given you such a fright with the oven. You can deal with it later if you're not up to it now. Will it mean you need a new oven? I wonder how it happened.
I'm glad you're pleased with your top. Online clothes shopping can sometimes be tricky. You must have a good eye.
Beckie, they are good friends but they're both leaving for their next student placement next week which sucks.
I'm glad you found the perfect top =) but omg how random about your oven!
I also wanted to say:
"Can you dance like a hippogriff, nah nah nah, nah nah nah, nah nah nah"
Needed to share that random earworm.
I've never heard that song NP and I refuse to look it up although my brain is already guessing what that part sounds like. Do not want an ear worm!
How are you getting on?
It made me jump for sure!
No idea how it happened. Will have to clean it up at some point. Just seems overwhelming.
I'll send the letting agent an email on monday. Hopefully it's just a case of replacing the glass.
I do seem to be very good at choosing clothes online! Even when i have to order a different size, they always end up.fitting me! It's quite spooky actually!
Oh no np! It sucks to lose good people.
Are you getting new students?
That is indeed very random!
I can see why it seems overwhelming, especially with how you're feeling. Just be careful with the glass. Maybe you could shout over your neighbour!
I hope it is just a case of replacing the glass. I always think things are a bigger deal than they usually are as with thinking you'd need a whole new cooker. I really need to start thinking repair rather than replacing the whole thing. I usually just buy new things if they break but I can't be doing that now.
Do you need any more clothes or is that you sorted?
It's good you don't have to organise the repair yourself. Maybe just sweep all the glass into a pile out of the way for now?
I'm not sure you would know the song, Lindsay but Beckie definitely should!
And yeah we get three new students every year. I've been told one of them I'll really get on with.
My neighbour is coming to do a clean on Monday, i did consider leaving it until then but I'm not that much of an awful person XD
I used to be the same with just replacing broken things. But I'm better at sorting things out now
Nope I'm all sorted now!
Just waiting on the shoes and a small shoulder bag.
Oh and i may need a light cardigan. I won't be cold during the day but thinking i may be a bit chilly at night? But then we're not going to be outside so idk
Yeah I'll just get a dustpan and brush and sweep it. It's all in the oven and everything. Ugh.
Oh yes i certainly do know the song! And it is now in my head :plain:
I saw your photo, is there much glass on the floor or is it all in the oven. It might be easy enough to clean it out of the oven seen as it's gathered in a relatively small space.
Glad you've got your outfit sorted.
I listened to the song. Now that part is stuck in my head! Why did I do it?!
It was mainly in the oven.
I've cleaned most of it up, it's just that there's a load in the gap between the oven and the door and i can't figure out how to get it all out! In the meantime, i can't fully close or fully open the oven. Ugh. Why is being an adult so hard.
Haha! It's a good song tbf
Evening folks :-)
How are you?
I've been better. But have just forced myself out to lidle. As I had only wine milk and out of date butter in my fridge. Not sure anyone could make a meal out of that! Or even a snack.
How are you this evening?
I'm still out like the social butterfly I seem to be nowadays. No idea what this music is and the dance floor is empty. Not drunk enough for dancing yet =P
And by nowadays, I mean the last two days haha
At a party? I hope there's food.
I'm ringing about bed.
Beckie, so much sympathy for your glass-based chaos; sounds like a nightmare!
Well done for making it to Lidl Lillie!
Enjoy your buzzing social life np =D
My parents just came round to learn how to look after our chinchillas while we're away and OH MY DAYS they made it seem so much harder than it is to clean a cage :P
They just want to get it right!
My mum's the same when she comes.to.look after Geordi. It's like, feed him, give him cuddles, give him a lap and he'll be fine.
I'm home finally.
Wouldn't call.it a buzzing social life. It was good fun 6h9ugh and I did actually get up off the comfy sofa at the back and dance a bit. I'm gonna pay for this this tomorrow or the next few days in sure.
I'm so tired... D=
Morning Beckie and NP :-)
How are you both today??
My bunny Alberte has retreated to her cage. I suspect she's a bit cross with me because i wouldn't let her eat my couch….
Hey Zurg. How're you?
I'm... not in my 20s any more.
I think Alberte has good reason to be cross with you. =P
