I will let her know!

I have read "No Time For Goodbye" and "Too Close to Home" I also have another of his books that she lent me but I can't remember which one it is! I think my Gran has read all his books now! (which is good for me as she gives me them to borrow, though I think some of the others she has had her friends have just now.)

About to start Gone Girl By Gillian Flynn

Reading Chavs by Owen Jones, and The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides.

Chavs is good - and I'm glad I'm finally reading it - but it's the same point hammered home ad nauseam, and I'd prefer to hear it argued from different perspectives, and what to do about it, rather than just "politicians and the press are vilifying the working class"

The other day I finished A Dance With Dragons by George R.R. Martin. It ended on a lot of cliffhangers. So now I have to wait an unspecified period of time for the next book. AGONY.

In the meantime, I've decided to alternate between fiction and non-fiction, so right now I'm reading a book with a rather long and unwieldy title about the rise and fall of Prussia.

I am ready Amy and Me by Jeremy Keeling at the moment. It's the biography of the animal manager at Monkey World. My all time favourite book has to be A Miilion Little Pieces by James Frey. Its a very graphic biography but just amazing and gives you a hope for any situation you may be in. x

I just finished reading Looking for Alaska by John Green. Alaska is a character that i can really relate to(in my opinion, she has BPD symptoms, and I do feel we are similar). At first I didn't really like the ending, because it was kinds flat, no big mystery or anything; but then I realised that this really shows how you can be overwhelmed by something that, for others, isn't that bad of a thing.

I have read some excellent books recently. Hunger for Change was one, all of Cat Clarke's books and I am now reading Sophia Bennet's books.
