His name is Patch and he is three years old. :) One day, I will own a cat like Patch! For now, I will have to just look at pictures and keep my finger crossed for when I eventually ask my landlord. <3

I like Fluffy. I love a black cat. They are the hardest to adopt, which is sad because cats like Molly have so much love to give.

Oh, I didn't realise that black cats are the hardest to adopt. Do you know why? I don't mind what colour a cat is. Just want to give one a home.

Some people are superstitious about them and believe they are bad luck. Some think they don’t look good in selfies. Not true, Molly is good luck and takes a beautiful photo.

you wont believe it but the perception is that they don't photograph as well and are therefore not popular for instagram etc.

I suspect cats are sometimes the brighter I must confess although I am a dog person-my dog is currently quite literally chasing her own tail 0.o

Branch group was good. My friends are great and the hosts' house is warm. Now I am tired and cold! Got the electric blanket on though, so will be getting in bed soon. Just need to take meds etc.

I'm going for lunch with a friend to talk about going on retreat. I think Mum is coming at some point in the evening. My flat is so stupidly cold. My hands are icy where they're sticking out of my jumper. Oh how lovely would central heating be?!

I know it shouldn’t please me that you have no central heating but I don’t either! And everyone acts like I’m odd for not getting it sorted. Everyone seems to have it these days! It is cold tonight though. Got my electric heater next to me.

I worry that my landlord would put my rent up if she put in central heating! I've got wall mounted panel heaters. They throw out a lot of heat, but are just really expensive. Don't have instant hot water either. Either have to boil the kettle or heat the whole tank up using the immersion. Thankfully my shower is electric! I don't think people think I'm odd though; they just don't come round very often in the Winter!

Hot water is good. :) I keep meaning to put the immersion on for an hour a day so I always have hot water for washing up and stuff, but I either forget to turn it on, or I turn it on and forget to turn it off until three days later... :wow: Not so long back the thermostat on the tank broke, and steam was coming up through the floor of the flat above me because I'd just left the thing switched on. I didn't realise because I was living in my bedroom at the time. Then the letting agent phoned and said someone had been knocking on the door because there was something rather amiss. :whistling:


I'm not sure. I can't remember. I'll message my friend in the morning to check. I've not moved yet and I really need to. Could do with meds first.
