Cacoethes 18-11-2019 12:51 PM

Had ECT
Now in recovery, just had a cup of tea

Hope you have a nice time with your godmother tamo

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 12:58 PM

I have had another postcard this morning. It's from Biggleswade which is in England.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 01:05 PM

That's where I live dawn!

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 01:16 PM

Thought so! The postcard is of a place called Jordan's Mill. She says that Biggleswade isnt very disability friendly with dodgy paths and not very many places to rest. Is that true Beckie?

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 01:24 PM

Biggleswade is an excellent name.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 01:36 PM

Jordans mill is lovely
Yeah that sounds about right tbh!

It is quite a good name!

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 01:42 PM

I just had chai tea, it's really warming.

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 02:05 PM

Both my cats have decided to sit on me.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 02:07 PM

Aw snuggle time

chinahorse 18-11-2019 02:12 PM

Snuggle time :-)

My cat is busy pouncing on dust.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 02:19 PM

What a cutie. Our cat was pouncing on fluff in the garden.

chinahorse 18-11-2019 02:26 PM

Haha cats are silly.

Mine is now attacking me from behind the curtain.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 02:31 PM

Our cat is having a rest next to me on the sofa

chinahorse 18-11-2019 02:33 PM

Swap you a crazed demon with a bottle brush for a tail doing laps around the house and expecting me to keep producing toys for him to chase.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 02:57 PM

Needie kitty

chinahorse 18-11-2019 03:27 PM

Thought you said needle kitty!

What's everyone up to? I'm about to eat luncheck. Whilst I waiting foe it to cook I also cleaned the kitchen and wiped down the living room.

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 03:42 PM

I am killing time until my cpn visits this afternoon

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 03:43 PM

Also have dinner cooking in my slow cooker again.

chinahorse 18-11-2019 03:51 PM

I'm also killing time until I have to go out to an appointment and get my meds and buy milk.

What are you cooking?

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 04:10 PM

I am killing time until nothing
Hospitals are boring

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 04:16 PM

Agreed.

I had a nice time with my godmother.

chinahorse 18-11-2019 04:23 PM

They are beckie.

Am glad tamo.

Am now waiting in hospital for my appointment. Hope it's the nice nurse. I mean they are all fairly nice but there's one who's really nice.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 04:25 PM

I will wish for you to get the nice nurse.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 04:33 PM

Glad you had a nice time tamo

Fingers crossed for the nice nurse Lillie!

chinahorse 18-11-2019 04:59 PM

Not the nice nurse but she was okay and the same student as usual. Am so annoyed though. Leg keeps healing in some places but breaking down in new places. And arm is not making an effort to heal at all.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 05:04 PM

Glad she was ok.
Sorry to hear about your arm and leg though :(

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 05:40 PM

Oh dear I hope they heal soon

not_so_insig 18-11-2019 05:51 PM

I hope that you recover Lillie.

I have sausage casserole in my slow cooker. Couldn't find my white onions so had to put red onion in the casserole. Never had it with red onion before so fingers crossed that it turns out ok.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 06:00 PM

I wonder what we've got for dinner tonight

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:10 PM

Evening everyone.

Enjoyed reading everyone's cat updates earlier. Mine is currently trying to force my laptop off my lap so that he's got more room for himself.

chinahorse 18-11-2019 06:12 PM

Hehe np :-P

Should be fine Dawn, red onions are slightly sweeter than normal ones but not much difference in a casserole.

Hope dinner is tasty beckie.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:14 PM

I liked the description of Bertie's bottle brush tail. =)

I like red onions better! Probably because they are sweeter.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:18 PM

I don't know about white or red but caramelized onions are yum.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:21 PM

And onion rings.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:23 PM

I used to hate them but maybe I should give them another chance.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:27 PM

Me too actually but now I think they're yum. Never used to like onion but I love battered things. =D

chinahorse 18-11-2019 06:32 PM

The best are onion ring crisps. *omnomnom*

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:40 PM

Our L loves those crisps, I will steal one next time she buys some, just to taste.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:40 PM

Oh no those are vile!

Speaking of crisps I just had some christmas cheese and cranberry ones. Can't decide if they're nice or not.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:44 PM

Mmmm they sound interesting.

Cacoethes 18-11-2019 06:47 PM

Dinner was rather tasty!
I had steak and potato pie, mash, carrots and green beans. And then cheesecake.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:49 PM

That is a good dinner. We're having sausages and mash :)

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:51 PM

I think they were quite nice, Tamo. More cheesy than cranberry... just a bit of an odd combination.

Beckie, that does sound like a really nice meal! Very jealous of the cheesecake.

I dunno what to do for food tonight...

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:53 PM

How much effort do you want to go to with your dinner?

one_step_closer 18-11-2019 06:56 PM

I had sausage and mash too Tamo. With onions and gravy.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:56 PM

The answer to that question is always "as little effort as possible!" =)

I have stuff I could stick in the oven, or soup to microwave or some pasta to boil. None of which takes much effort. Not sure what I feel like eating though.

nonperson 18-11-2019 06:57 PM

Mmm gravy.

tamobhuuta 18-11-2019 06:59 PM

Nice osc!

I would recommend beans on toast if you want something easy np. I really like baked beans...

one_step_closer 18-11-2019 06:59 PM

How about all three NP?!

one_step_closer 18-11-2019 07:00 PM

Beans on toast is yum although not with reduced sugar beans.
