RYL Forums - What book are you reading or just read?

I loved 1984 aswell. I can't believe I was suckered in by it.

I'm still reading Age of Innocence as haven't sat and read it much. I'm also about to start reading "The Annals of Gullibility" which looks really interesting.

Just finished reading 'A clockwork orange' by Anthony Burgess, and 'A perfect Life, by Rafaella (sp) Barker. And going to hopefully be reading 1984 by George Orwell soon, as I heard good things about it, and now reading these comments just make me want to read it more.

Currently reading The Stand by Stephen King. Tried reading once before but got bored after about 200 pages in. This time I've really got into it though :) Recommend it, if you're into the horror / fantasy sort of thing :)

I just finished reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
It was just as good as it was aged 5 :)

Now I'm going to sit and read The Hobbit :)

I just finished reading A Clockwork Orange. I high reccomend it. It's a bit of a hard read, but once you get past the language, it's easy.

I'm rereading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for my children's literature course in uni.
Then I'll be reading Easter 1916 by Charles Townshend.

It's pretty good. I prefer it to the other module in English that I'm taking that's all about Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and translating middle English.
That's another book I have to reread, come to think of it.
