Aubergine 22-01-2018 09:07 PM

You can have some left over pizza too, Lindsay! :D

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:08 PM

I love avocado!
It really seems to have become popular recently!

Prawn toast is amazing.

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:09 PM

Thanks Aubergine!

What do you eat with avocado Beckie?

chinahorse 22-01-2018 09:10 PM

Chinese makes me feel sick. Even the smell of it. I can't go to one of those we do everything buffet places cos of it.

Guacamole is snot. Why would you want to eat snot?!

*omnomnom pizza*

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:11 PM

Eww. Lovely image there Lillie!

Sketchy 22-01-2018 09:12 PM

No no no Lillie. Guacamole is gorgeous!

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:13 PM

I think I've mentioned this before but have you seen that video/song where Dr Jean somebody sings about guacamole, amongst other things? It really gets stuck in my head.

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:14 PM

I just used to eat an avocado on its own!
And in salads.

Thats fair enough Lillie!
I actually couldnt stand it for years for a reason I won't say here but yeah the smell made me want to vomit!
I love it again now though!

Ive never actually had guacamole

Yes I have seen that Lindsay and now it is stuck in my head!!

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:15 PM

The song just to annoy you - https://youtu.be/MFmr_TZLpS0

I first heard it when I was in hospital and I was up one night pacing and singing it in my head and doing the dance. Behind my curtains of course! Did actually drive me nuts.

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:16 PM

Sorry Beckie! I was going to try and find someone else to blame but it was me who started talking about avocados.

Aubergine 22-01-2018 09:16 PM

"I've got a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves..."

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:18 PM

Does that guy still have a squeaky voice?

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:20 PM

My god both songs are awful!!

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:24 PM

Beckie, Dr Jean has a song to help you get up in the morning! https://youtu.be/39__jCTwNt0

Aubergine 22-01-2018 09:24 PM

I think we annoyed Beckie, Lindsay. :D

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:25 PM

If that song played when I got up in the morning, my phone would be going through the window!

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:25 PM

I apologised for annoying Beckie though. :-D

I could be doing something more productive like reading but I'm watching Dr Jean's videos now.

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:26 PM

How about I arrange a guest appearance of Dr Jean in your bedroom?

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:26 PM

Omfg no!!!

one_step_closer 22-01-2018 09:28 PM

Haha! Ok, I won't be that mean but I might save it for a day when I do feel like being mean to you. :-p

Aubergine 22-01-2018 09:31 PM

You can't apologise and then be mean again, Lindsay! That's not how it works! (Or so my mother used to tell me when I was winding up my little sister...) ;)

chinahorse 22-01-2018 09:35 PM

I've never heard that song. Don't think I want to change that either lol

Cacoethes 22-01-2018 09:37 PM

Good cop bad cop!
But in one :p

Don't do it Lillie!
It will haunt you forever!!

chinahorse 22-01-2018 09:51 PM

Haha I'll take your word for it!

My pizza was horrible :(

Aubergine 22-01-2018 09:52 PM

I didn't click the link either, Lillie. I think that makes us winners. *high five*

I'm sorry that your pizza wasn't nice. :(

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:02 PM

That’s a shame Lillie.

I just opened my champagne truffles. Delicious!

Aubergine 22-01-2018 10:03 PM

Oh nice! I hope you enjoy them. :)

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:10 PM

Thanks. It’s such a nice treat.

Aubergine 22-01-2018 10:13 PM

It does sound like a lovely and well deserved treat. :)

How did my flat get messy again?

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:14 PM

It’s amazing how fast things get messy. My living room table was all tidy, now it’s cluttered again, but that’s mainly because of my sewing stuff.

Aubergine 22-01-2018 10:18 PM

I'm sure other adults have tidy flats. My mum's house is always spotless. :questionmark:

Clutter is ok if the clutter is useful. How's the sewing going?

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:21 PM

I don’t feel like a real adult.

The sewing is going well. I’ve pinned a pocket on the apron that I need to sew, and then I just need to sew the edges of the apron, attach trimming and straps. Still a lot of work.

Aubergine 22-01-2018 10:29 PM

I do sometimes. Other times, I'm sure I'm just winging it!

Oh well done. Sounds like it's going to be great. Did you do sewing as part of your degree? I did woodwork at gcse and quit sewing when I was 13. Couldn't sew a button on, but could knock you up a nice chair...

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:33 PM

No, I did fine art for my degree. I specialised in printmaking and it involved a lot of drawing and I did some painting, which I now mainly do. I learned to sew when I was working freelance as an artist. I had to make banners and wall hanging and other sewing crafts in workshops I taught.

Sketchy 22-01-2018 10:33 PM

Woodwork is impressive!

Aubergine 22-01-2018 11:22 PM

I got an A* haha. I also managed to saw a hole in my school jumper!

You're so clever and creative, Lorraine. I'm quite in awe.

Sketchy 22-01-2018 11:28 PM

That’s great, and impressive about the jumper.

Thank you. You are too kind.

Aubergine 22-01-2018 11:39 PM

Hehe. My mum didn't think it was impressive! She would not buy me a new jumper because I was about three months off finishing school. Thankfully I didn't care too much! I still wear clothes to death until mum tells me I have to throw them out!

It's truth. And you deserve kind. <3

Sketchy 22-01-2018 11:41 PM

I’m the same. I have clothes I wear a lot until they fall to bits.

You are sweet. <3

Aubergine 22-01-2018 11:46 PM

When I lived with my parents, I sometimes rescued clothes from the bin... :whistling: They were comfy and it wasn't as if mum was the one had to wear them!

I'm glad I'm not alone in wearing clothes for a long time. Sometimes I look at Facebook and a memory will pop up from years ago and I still wear the clothes now!

Sketchy 22-01-2018 11:49 PM

I think I hold onto the same clothes because I hate shopping for clothes.

Do you have any plans for tomorrow? I need to go to Asda. Fun times. I need to take rubbish out and do some washings. And I’m determined not to hide in bed, but use my living room, which is hard.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 12:02 AM

I can understand staying in your living room being hard. I get that too. I think you're trying so hard and doing fantastically well. Perhaps we can spent time in the living room together tomorrow? :)

Getting anything nice from asda?

I start a ten week self-management course at the mental health education centre tomorrow morning. Then I need to tidy before my friend comes for coffee. I also need to shower and might dye my hair. :)

Sketchy 23-01-2018 12:18 AM

That would be nice staying in the living room together. I’ll be around tomorrow.

I need to buy gift wrap for my dad’s birthday present and hand wash.

I hope your course goes well.

What colour are you dyeing your hair? Mine is pink.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 12:33 AM

Me too. It's a date! You can rock and I can swing. :)

I saw the bag you made your dad. Love the fabric!

Thank you. Bit nervous, but I know the tutor. :)

Red, I think. It's always red. Though I.was thinking.about more auburn. Will see what theyve got. :)

Sketchy 23-01-2018 12:39 AM

Yay, it’s a date.

Thanks. I spotted the fabric in the shop and had to buy it. I’ve filled it with fancy shower gels that he wanted from a posh shop in Glasgow.

It’s understandable to be nervous. I hope it goes well.

Red is a nice colour.

I think I better go to bed now, so that I get up tomorrow to go to Asda.
Goodnight. Sleep well.

Aubergine 23-01-2018 12:42 AM

Night night, Lorraine. :)

Eska 23-01-2018 09:10 AM

Morning, how are you all? I'm on my way to work and am really tired :(

Aubergine 23-01-2018 10:20 AM

Hey. :)

I hope you have a good day at work, Eska.

chinahorse 23-01-2018 11:31 AM

Hope work goes quickly eska :)

I'm tired too. Was awake for ages in the middle of the night and got woken up by the building work near my house. Still at least I'm noy at work today so can snooze on the sofa.

Cacoethes 23-01-2018 11:41 AM
