I am home and have been to asda!
It was very strange walking there and just being there in general. It's also strange being at home! |
Yay for home! I'm sure you know it'll take a bit of time to settle in back home. I hope your support helps you to stay at home long term. What are you doing with your evening?
|
Yes it will. I think tonight might be difficult
Thank you :) I have just ordered domino's! And am watching Canadian border patrol How about you? |
What toppings did you get?
I'll be catching up with 24 Hours In A&E later. Going to try and read before that. |
Pepperoni, mushrooms, ham and PINEAPPLE!! :p
Sounds good |
How did I know you'd order a Dominos tonight =P
My issue with those toppings is not the ham and pineapple.... but more the pepperoni and pineapple combo. |
Haha! I'm so predictable :p
Nothing wrong with pepperoni and pineapple! I don't think.... It was nice anyway! |
Never said there was anything wrong with it! That combination just makes me wonder, that's all!
Maybe I'll have pizza tonight too. |
Haha! Fair enough! :p
Yessss! Pizza night! |
I was going to have tacos but that feels like too much effort. I picked up a half price Pizza Express pizza yesterday though which would be perfect.
Also, KFC crisps - nice but not a patch on the real thing. I think it's the crunchiness throwing me. That peppery after taste is there though! |
Mmm tacos.
But pizza is a good idea! So nice and easy Oh oh oh I saw the KFC crisps in asda! I didn't get any because I only took one bag with me and didn't have enough room but I will get some another day! |
Ooh that's good! =D
|
Yep! I'm looking forward to getting some!
It feels SO good to charge my phone when I want to and not have to charge it in a separate room. |
I bet. =)
Freedom at last. |
Indeed!
How is your birthday going np? |
Alright. Got a lot of surprises through the post, mostly food. I've said a few times now that lockdown birthdays seem to suit me. All the presents/supplies but none of the people. =)
|
Sounds great! :)
|
And so much cheese.
|
Yessss cheeeeeeseeee!!!
|
Surprise cheese hamper from my sister. =P
|
Yummy!
I need to buy cheese |
Yes you do!
I was without any cheese for a few days last week and that was hard. Now I have so much I don't know what to do with it all! |
I'm sure you'll work your way through it!
Though I don't know quite how much you have so maybe not! Carers not here yet. I want to go to bed! I can't wait to get into my own bed! |
There's not that much really, just lots to choose from. I'll probably just nibble on it all for the next few days.
Erf, what time are they meant to turn up? That has to be particularly frustrating waiting for them at bed time. Bet you'll sleep well tonight though. =) |
Sounds like a plan!
9pm So they aren't super late |
Are they super late now?
|
A bit.
I might have to call them *shudder* |
Ugh, not what you need on your first day back. =/
|
Nope!
Let's just hope they actually turn up! I'm going to give it 10 more minutes Because I really really hate phone calls! |
I called.
The carer's tyre has popped so she's waiting for a lift. What a great start! |
Gah, how unfortunate!
You'd think she could have called you rather than stressing you out to do it. |
That's what the old carers would have done.
Not a good start! |
Ah well. It's early days yet. Maybe they will once they know you/ the routine a bit better.
|
I hope so!
I'm already anxious enough not knowing anyone |
Is it or will it be the same people coming all the time?
You seem to get on well with most people (I think?) so I'm sure they'll be ok. |
I hope it will be the same people coming all the time.
But you never know! Yeah I do really. It'll probably be fine! They still haven't turned up. I want to go to bed! |
Text them and say you;re going to bed? Or.. you probably need might meds?
Or just stay up and talk to me, lol. I'LL KEEP YOU AWAKE UNTIL THEY ARRIVE! |
I definitely need night meds
Yaaay! Thank you! |
I'm not sure how to do that though.
I'll just talk crap at you until they arrive? |
Sounds good!
I can't believe they aren't here yet. The old carers would have arranged for cover by now. Or at least called to give an update :plain: |
That's really not very acceptable. Hopefully this isn't them setting their standard of care!
Gimme a topic to talk crap about. >.> |
I really hope not!
Surely they've got to turn up soon?! Ummmm.....bears!!! |
Depends how long it takes to change a punctured tyre? Which to be honest she should be able to do herself!
Bears? All that's doing is making me think of an episode of Warehouse 13 I watched recently where someone kept doing Yogi Bear impressions, haha. |
Apparently they were organising a lift for them. Or they were organising a lift for themselves. Idk.
I hope they aren't waiting for the AA to come and do it! Haha! I don't know why I said bears. :p |
Erf, I hope they're not waiting for the AA.
Maybe you were thinking of Goldilocks and the three bears and who's been sleeping in MY bed? =P |
I haven't been up this late in ages!
Haha! Maybe :p I'm watching 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. Are you up to much? |
Playing games and listening to music.
I haven't watched 8 out of 10 cats for a long time. Can hear Jimmy Carr's laugh at the mention of it though. |
My mum HATES Jimmy Carrs laugh. She gets so irritated by it!
I called the carers again. I got an 'oh god hasn't she turned up yet? Oh god' and then 'can't you do your medication yourself?' I am not impressed |
It is an irritating laugh!
Hm... that's really not reassuring at all that they know what their job involves.... |
It is!
No..not really :ermm: They have finally been so it's bedtime for me! Thanks for keeping me company :) |
