Bolognaise sounds nice, Lindsay. I'm not sure HOW to log you off. :P

nonperson 12-08-2018 04:29 PM

I don't log off, I just shut my laptop lid.

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 04:31 PM

So your laptop is never off unless the battery dies, NP?

My phone has reminded me to make bolognese now and the reminder is annoyingly sitting on the corner of my laptop screen too and won't go away until I do what I'm told so I better do what I'm told.

Don't dye the whole thread pink while I'm away please.

nonperson 12-08-2018 04:41 PM

My laptop battery is already dead. It's not even in the laptop any more! I shut the lid and turn the power off at the wall.

I won't allow the thread the be dyed pink, don't worry.

Aubergine 12-08-2018 04:43 PM

I think I might just have to dye the whole thread pink... :P

Really must wash it off now. Was only supposed to be 30 minutes. Oops.

nonperson 12-08-2018 04:43 PM

What happens if you leave it too long?

chinahorse 12-08-2018 05:02 PM

hallo guys :)

Serendipity. 12-08-2018 05:26 PM

Hope your hair's looking nice and pink Ducky :)

Hey Lillie, how's it going?

chinahorse 12-08-2018 05:32 PM

OOOO pink hair?

Bit better than earlier thanks- had a migraine most of today :/

How're you?

Serendipity. 12-08-2018 05:33 PM

Owh, that's not fun :( I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.

I really need to get myself sorted for work tonight but I do not want to!

chinahorse 12-08-2018 05:36 PM

Urgh, a nightshift? What time do you start?

Yeah sucks but its my own fault. Its rubbish I've spent my only full say off this week in bed.

Serendipity. 12-08-2018 05:53 PM

Yeah, I start at 9.30 :(

That really is rubbish, I'm sorry you've had such a crappy day. What will you do this evening?

Aubergine 12-08-2018 05:54 PM

Nothing much, Person. It just probably isn't a good idea to leave it on massively too long.

Nightshift, Hannah? Yuck. Hope it goes OK.

I'm sorry that you're had a migraine, Lillie. That's rubbish. :(

chinahorse 12-08-2018 05:58 PM

Probably just lounge on the sofa and cook some oven food and shower. Should do some studying for work also. Such an exciting life I lead!

My head still hurts :(

Buttons. 12-08-2018 06:22 PM

*fixes poorly head*

Also pink hair sounds awesome.

Hello to all! I not long got back from Friendsfest was ace!

nonperson 12-08-2018 06:30 PM

Did they have the Friends apartment set up for you to go in?

Serendipity. 12-08-2018 06:31 PM

Ohh that sounds amazing, I'm jealous!

Buttons. 12-08-2018 06:32 PM

Np yes, and Ross's and Joey's :D

It was thanks Hannah :D

nonperson 12-08-2018 06:34 PM

Awesome. Are they smaller than they look on the tv?

Buttons. 12-08-2018 06:38 PM

A little I guess but not dramatically, it's more trippy when you see the fake scenery that they put out of the apartments' 'windows' :)

nonperson 12-08-2018 06:43 PM

Hah, cool to see all that stuff though. =)

Aubergine 12-08-2018 06:46 PM

Eww. Friends. :P

Buttons. 12-08-2018 06:47 PM

It was ace NP, they had all the props and everything :)

Aubergine, go away -_-

Aubergine 12-08-2018 06:48 PM

BUttons! You are so rude! YOU go away. :P

Buttons. 12-08-2018 06:50 PM

You don't like Friends. Therefore I have more right to be here than you because I AM WAY MORE AWESOME.

Aubergine 12-08-2018 06:51 PM

But you're Northern...

chinahorse 12-08-2018 06:55 PM

Sounds like a fab way to spend a day Buttons!

And thanks Lillie it really was x

Aubergine 12-08-2018 07:00 PM

*shakes head* :P

I'm glad you enjoyed your day though!

Buttons. 12-08-2018 07:03 PM

Thanks :)

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:23 PM

Did anyone watch that kids weekend morning TV thing with Ant and Dec etc when they made a parody of Friends called Chums?

Buttons. 12-08-2018 07:36 PM

No but I now want to!

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:39 PM

Youtube SMTV Live Chums.

nonperson 12-08-2018 07:41 PM

Omg, that was hilarious. It was on SMTV Live with Cat Deeley and CD:UK was on afterwards. =D

nonperson 12-08-2018 07:42 PM

I don't know why it took three minutes to type that comment. Lindsay beat me to it. =P

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:42 PM

CD:UK was great too, I was always watching for Westlife!

nonperson 12-08-2018 07:43 PM

Do you remember Wonky Donkey? =D

Buttons. 12-08-2018 07:44 PM

Okay now found it on youtube.

What in the name of beans is that???

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:46 PM

Wonky Donkey was on SMTV also, something to do with rhymes...

nonperson 12-08-2018 07:48 PM

YouTube that as well. =P

It was a game they played on SMTV. A caller had to guess what the phrase was, like wonky donkey, twee bee (which was famous because no one could get it) and it had to rhyme and the callers were sometimes really dumb and didn't make the words rhyme.

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:50 PM

I want to go back to those days! Was it Live and Kicking that was on BBC at the same time?

Buttons. 12-08-2018 07:52 PM

I am not going to type wonky donkey into youtube, I don't know what will materialise!

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:53 PM

Put SMTV or Ant and Dec before the wonky donkey. :tongue2:

Cacoethes 12-08-2018 07:55 PM

I won my trip to space camp in Alabama through SMTV live. They said my name on TV and everything!

one_step_closer 12-08-2018 07:56 PM

Are you somewhere on Youtube Beckie?

nonperson 12-08-2018 08:01 PM

That's amazing, Beckie!

I think Live and Kicking was probably on at the same time... but I have a feeling SMTV came a bit later on when L&K was sorta losing popularity. Could be completely wrong though.

Cacoethes 12-08-2018 08:11 PM

I might be!! Never looked!

I remember live and kicking. Didn't like it as much as SMTV

Aubergine 12-08-2018 08:17 PM

I liked T4 on a Sunday. Dawson's Creek. <3

nonperson 12-08-2018 08:19 PM

Aah Dawson's Creek was such an accurate representation of teenagers at the time... and their vocabulary.
