nonperson 18-03-2018 10:14 PM

Hullo everyone.

Sketchy 18-03-2018 10:17 PM

She loves them all!

Hey Nonperson. How are you?

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:20 PM

Cheese and turkey Dreamies are the favourites here. =)

Hi Lorraine. I'm ok, really really tired though from driving 3 hours today and visiting parents. How're you?

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:21 PM

Person! :)

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:26 PM

Aubergine!

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:28 PM

How were your parents? Well done for going. :)

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:31 PM

They were good. Chatty as always. We had a nice roast dinner out and watched a movie at home.

I'm now waiting for the washing machine to finish because the first thing the cat did when I got home was go upstairs and do a protest wee on the bath mat!

How're you? Did you enjoy your breakfast? =)

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:35 PM

That sounds lovely. :) What film did you watch?

Oh dear! Was he not impressed with you leaving him all day? Hehe.

I'm good. Breakfast was lovely. :)

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:39 PM

Thor: Ragnarok. Very funny all the way through - worth a watch!

It was a combination of being left all day and the snow and cold... =/ He doesn't normally have a litter tray because he goes outside but occasionally he uses the bath mat if he's being an arse about something.... =/

Glad breakfast was nice! Breakfast is one of the most enjoyable meals if you do it properly, I think.

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:43 PM

Oh cool! I've seen bits of one Thor film. Second one, I think?

Oh! Naughty cat. :P To be fair though, I wouldn't want to go to the loo outside if it was cold and snowy.

Yeah, I'd agree. We went to a french restaurant, but I had a full English!

Sketchy 18-03-2018 10:45 PM

Sounds like a good day apart from the cat wee Nonperson.

I’m ok thanks.

Think I’ll head to bed. Goodnight everyone. Sleep well.

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:45 PM

Night night, Lorraine. I hope you sleep well.

Eska 18-03-2018 10:45 PM

Goodnight Lorraine

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:55 PM

G'night Lorraine. =)

nonperson 18-03-2018 10:56 PM

Argh, my washing machine is the doing the stupid thing where it refuses to spin!

Aubergine 18-03-2018 10:58 PM

Oh no! Can you set it to spin manually? Or will it only do it as part of a cycle?

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:01 PM

It does it when I put the wrong number of things in that hold lots of water, like towels or a single bath mat... Something to do with it causing the machine to be imbalanced so it refuses to spin for safety!

Which is all well and good but it means I'm stuck with sopping wet stuff...

I just manually wring it out and keep trying the manual spin until it decides it can do it.

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:02 PM

Ohhh that's because you've got a fancy washing machine! My friends got a new washing machine and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't spin and it was because it was too fancy for its own good. :P

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:04 PM

I don't think it's fancy! o.o

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:07 PM

Hehe. It must be! My washing machine is definitely not fancy and it'll spin anything. :P

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:09 PM

Might need to borrow your machine then. >.>

I can understand if it's a safety feature but it's really ****ing dumb and really annoys me.

They probably said 4 months when they thought Alec was Alice. The testicles have to drop in males before they can neuter him which is generally about 6 months of age.

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:11 PM

Hehe! You're very welcome to, but it's a bit of a jaunt to put some washing in the machine. :P Sounds pretty dumb.

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:14 PM

I'm just going to try one more time and if not I'll leave it in the drum overnight and hope it drip dries a little bit to spin it in the morning! =P

Apparently newish and cheaper machines with big drums do it more often because the technology isn't as good as in the more expensive one. Makes sense...

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:19 PM

Hehe. Good plan! Oh, I see. Mine only has a small load capacity. Little drum. Perhaps that's why it doesn't do it!

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:21 PM

I was doing washing for two people when I got this machine, don't need a big drum at all now really.

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:22 PM

How frustrating! I'd swap, but I like having a machine that spins. :P

nonperson 18-03-2018 11:25 PM

It's kind of a key feature! =P

Anyway, it's not cooperating so I'm going to give in and go to bed. I'm so tired my eyeballs are aching...

G'night. Sleep well when you go! =)

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:26 PM

Good plan. Night night. :)

not_so_insig 18-03-2018 11:29 PM

I managed to get back home. Roads were ok but the pavement was lethal. Fortunately I managed to get to my block without falling over :-D

Aubergine 18-03-2018 11:31 PM

That's good, Dawn.

I'm not looking forward to the walk to work tomorrow. It's going to be hard not to fall over!

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 07:25 AM

Morning guys
There is no snow at all!

chinahorse 19-03-2018 09:00 AM

None sticking here either beckie.

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 09:12 AM

Good good!
It is freezing though!

chinahorse 19-03-2018 10:20 AM

Yeah it is cold. :/

nonperson 19-03-2018 10:23 AM

Still got snow here. Indoor on-holiday jobs for me today then.

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 11:04 AM

I had a latte and its warmed me up
Now for a pointless class :doze:
And meeting with tutor at 1:45

chinahorse 19-03-2018 11:15 AM

Any time to relax today NP or are there things you have to do?

Well at least the meeting with the tutor could be useful beckie?

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 11:16 AM

Yes it should be useful

How are you today Lillie?

chinahorse 19-03-2018 11:23 AM

That's something at least.

Too lazy to get up to find my remote even though the A team is such a stupid program.

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 11:26 AM

Know the feeling
Maybe if you get up to find the remote, you can make a cup of tea or something while you are up.
Make getting up worthwhile!

nonperson 19-03-2018 11:27 AM

Only got to do food shopping today, chinahorse. That's all really. And a bit of cleaning...!

How's everyone?

chinahorse 19-03-2018 11:31 AM

Time to snuggle up and chill out then!
I should clean too but it seems I clean at work which yeah I'm paid to but don't make it dirty and then come home and clean which on the whole I'm not in long enough for it to get dirty!
Where's the idiot who sold me adult life?! I want a refund :-P

nonperson 19-03-2018 11:39 AM

I hate cleaning up mess that isn't mine.

And nah I've been sat on my bum since I got up so I should go shower and do shopping as I have nothing in for lunch.

Hehe, adulting is definitely not something anyone would willingly buy!

chinahorse 19-03-2018 11:42 AM

Ah I see. Maybe make a list and then get going then? If you manage to make it before lunch time it'll be quieter I suppose.

nonperson 19-03-2018 11:47 AM

The list is already done, just gotta get the motivation to move.

not_so_insig 19-03-2018 11:57 AM

Morning all

Cacoethes 19-03-2018 12:14 PM

Adulting sucks

Aubergine 19-03-2018 01:21 PM

Heya.
