No I have no garden!
Well, I do have a strip of grass that belongs to my house! Enough grass to need mowing and have a picnic etc.
But it's pouring down with rain right now!

Going wild is fun though :tongue2:
But I do see your point!
I still need to make sure I'm still going to harry potter studios with jasmine and my friend! But my friend isn't really talking to me right now

one_step_closer 02-01-2022 03:24 PM

Picnic in the rain! I guess it won't be picnic ready weather for a while now.

I'm sorry your friend isn't talking to you, I hope you can both sort things out. When would you be going to the HP studios?

Cacoethes 02-01-2022 03:29 PM

Probably not!

I doubt he'll talk to me again.
The CIA got involved and no one goes against the CIA.

We planned to go to hp studios in May. But the tours are selling out really fast!

tamobhuuta 02-01-2022 07:58 PM

I'd bought tickets for my birthday - my actual birthday - but covid scuppered it. So I would advise waiting for this to pass.

nonperson 02-01-2022 08:40 PM

It might be worth booking in advance though. If it's cancelled it's cancelled and you can kind of prepare for the possibility of that happening, but if you don't book then you'll have longer to wait if it isn't. Plus if last year is anything to go by then covid things were improving by May.

I really want to go there at Halloween next.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 09:10 AM

Morning everyone

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 10:38 AM

Morning :) how are you?

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 10:44 AM

Been better

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 10:48 AM

That doesn't sound good. Anything in particular? I'm ok. L said she would cut my hair today.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 10:50 AM

Lots of things
Probably not appropriate to talk about on this thread

That will be nice
I love getting my hair cut

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 11:23 AM

If you post I will read it :) but I might not reply, sorry.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 11:29 AM

I've r/vd about it.
I don't feel up to posting an actual thread.
Thanks though :)

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 11:30 AM

Did the r/v post help?

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 11:35 AM

Yes it does help.

Just been feeling very lonely lately.
Feels like I've been isolating forever

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 11:38 AM

How many days left?

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 11:52 AM

2 days left.
Just in time for work!

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 12:47 PM

You can do it!

My hair is all short. Well, shorter!

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 12:51 PM

How does it feel?
I always feel weird once my hair is cut. Takes some getting used to!

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 12:55 PM

It's much lighter. I'm leaving a hair mask on.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 01:00 PM

I need to get a hair mask.
They're supposed to be really good for your hair!

tamobhuuta 03-01-2022 01:13 PM

My hair gets pretty dry, I'm hoping the cut and mask will help.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 01:17 PM

It should help

My hair isn't in the best condition because of all the bleach and dye over the years!

one_step_closer 03-01-2022 02:54 PM

I hope you're loving your hair cut Tamo.

I think I need to get a trim to tidy up the split ends but the hairdresser shows me how much they'd have to take off and it's not much so I usually tell them to take some more off and I got to having hair halfway down my back to it being at my shoulders. I've never dyed my hair, don't know what I'm going to do when I get grey hair!

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 02:55 PM

Embrace the grey hair lindsay!

one_step_closer 03-01-2022 02:57 PM

I'm not very good with change but at the same time I wouldn't want to dye it. Why does grey hair have to be a thing?! What do you think you'll do when you get grey hair?

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 03:05 PM

I probably wouldn't even notice if I got grey hair because I dye it bright colours every few months!

not_so_insig 03-01-2022 03:23 PM

I have the occasional grey hair but tbh I just pull it out.

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 03:49 PM

Fair enough

one_step_closer 03-01-2022 05:01 PM

But there might be an invasion of grey hair at some point.

You could embrace the gray and show your wisdom :P

one_step_closer 03-01-2022 05:05 PM

Maybe I will be wise by the time I get grey hair.

How are you Shira?

Cacoethes 03-01-2022 05:14 PM

I think so!

You already are very wise! :D

I'm alright, you?

nonperson 03-01-2022 10:53 PM

Embrace the grey. Mine is probably about 50/50 grey and dark brown now and there should be absolutely no pressure to dye it. So many hairdressers have asked me if I wanted to, like it is expected. I get really annoyed that people think they have to dye it or that going grey, especially when young, is bad! I can't remember if I posted the pics I took of mine on here or not?

YellowCalx 03-01-2022 11:24 PM

I have a rather dramatic grey streak in my fringe which I only found recently. I'm wearing it as a mark of distinction.

nonperson 03-01-2022 11:40 PM

You should! =)

Also hi Shira! (Thought I posted that before, clearly didn't)

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 08:03 AM

Morning everyone!

tamobhuuta 04-01-2022 11:19 AM

You're first again Cacoethes! How are you?

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 11:29 AM

I am! Lol
I'm not great.

How are you?

tamobhuuta 04-01-2022 11:35 AM

Sorry to hear that :( is there anything that would help?

I am ok, just catching up with RYL with a cup of coffee.

Can I PM you about your R/V?

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 11:38 AM

I just need the church to respond to my email.
I'm hoping they can help

Nice :)

Yes you can

tamobhuuta 04-01-2022 01:41 PM

How's the covid treating you?

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 01:48 PM

I'm completely fine now thanks
I did a lateral flow test today and the line is so faint you can barely see it

tamobhuuta 04-01-2022 01:57 PM

That's good :) when are you going back to work?

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 02:03 PM

I'm really looking forward to being around people again!

one_step_closer 04-01-2022 02:38 PM

Afternoon everyone. How are your days going?

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 02:40 PM

Hey lindsay

How are you?

one_step_closer 04-01-2022 02:42 PM

Hi Beckie. Do you think you'll be ok at work? I'm glad you're better now.

I'm a jumbled mix of negative emotions.

Cacoethes 04-01-2022 02:46 PM

I hope so

Sorry to hear that lindsay
Have you been up to much today?

one_step_closer 04-01-2022 02:50 PM

Good luck.

I've not done much, my to do list isn't that long for today. I was supposed to hoover but convinced myself that hoovering isn't needed right now. I finished a book so I hope I can get into another one. Really needing to reply to pen pals but it's hard to focus on.

Have you done anything nice since it sounds like you need some comfort/positivity in your life right now?
