'Now Then, Lad...Tales of a Country Bobby'.
T'is good so far. :) |
I'm reading the House of Night books again, because I'm getting ready for the release of the new book :) (I'm far too much of a HON geek!) So I'm back at the first one - Marked :)
|
Lance Armstrong's "It's Not About The Bike".
In one week the guy found out A) he had cancer B) it had spread to his brain C) he had no health insurance. Great book about coming back from total despair and tribulation. |

Handle with Care - Jodi Picoult
|
I'm just about to start Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson, can't wait, I've wanted to read this for ages, finally bought it.
|
I finished Vampire Hunter D: Volume One a few days ago and I absolutely hated it. On the bright side, now I have a little extra space on my bookshelf, because I really don't mind throwing it away.
Currently about halfway through Silver Wedding by Maeve Binchy. It's... okay. Not bad, but not really good either. I might get rid of this book too. |
The Clever One by Helena Close. It says on the cover SKINS meets the Inbetweeners. I love Skins so I bought it. Then I found out I'd read one of her books before, The Cut of Love (about sh).
|
Just finished reading 'An idiot abroad' by Karl Pilkington.
Reading some kind of hungarian fairy tale on my kindle but am going to start 'spider bones' by Kathy Reichs. |
The Passage by Justin Cronin. Second time reading it, utterly amazing
|
The Lovely Bones. 2nd time reading it.
|
I finished reading The Trial by Franz Kafka and started Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre. I enjoy both so far.
|
Be your own life coach - fiona harrold.
Chicken soup. |
I have just read "A visit from the goon squad" which i really liked, and also "The midwives comfession" which was a really light but good read too,
Now I gotta pick what to read from my ever growing "to read" list. Just bought "the bell jar" so maybe that. |
The Savage Garden By Mark Mills
I didn't think I would enjoy it but I am. Also read Eclipse - rubbish....I don't like the books but my friends been begging me to read them all so I will. |
Just got the new Cherub book by Robert Muchamore so that has been added to the pile.
|
Ways to live forever by Sally Nicolls.
|
I'm reading forever by Maggie stiefvater
|
Finished Silver Wedding by Maeve Binchy. Utter trash, with an abrupt, unsatisfying ending to boot. How she earned a reputation as one of Ireland's top writers is beyond me, seeing as talented writers has been one of our chief exports for a long time...
Next I'll either read a book of Philip K. Dick short stories, or Hamlet. I haven't decided. |
just started Valis by Philip K Dick
