Summer's Dream by Cathy Cassidy. It's about ballet which I love, but I think she's going to end up with an eating disorder.

ElecTrickCity 04-07-2014 07:09 PM

I have just finished reading 'when god was a rabbit' and I honestly was not disappointed at all. It kept me stuck from start to finish and I really appreciated all of the characters in it. Highly recommended!!

Finally got round to finishing book 5 of a song of ice and fire, cant wait for book 6 :-D

I'm going to make a start on children of dune by frank Herbert, it's the third book in the dune series, the first book (dune) is awesome, one of my faves but book two (dune messiah) was a bit pish but I'm going to give book 3 a try.

nowhereman 08-08-2014 11:15 PM

Just started another Sophie McKenzie book, Close my Eyes. I'm also reading a book of poetry and an Irish play I once worked backstage on. Too much to read, not enough time!

JusC 10-08-2014 04:59 AM

Not reading any books at the moment but should get back into reading again.

nowhereman 10-08-2014 06:34 AM

You really should! It's such a great pastime. I don't get to read as much as I'd like anymore unfortunately. About to get off here and read for a bit now though.

JusC 10-08-2014 02:02 PM

I need a book to read but don't know what. Maybe a Rom Com or something but I don't know. What about u?

JusC 13-08-2014 01:13 PM

Ok. I need to read. Get a new book I think.

nowhereman 13-08-2014 03:55 PM

Go to the library if you have one near, books are so expensive to buy these days. Unless charity shop or on kindle

lord of luck 14-08-2014 05:01 AM

library books are awesome, you can get audio versions too for when you would rather listen.

I'm reading the three musketeers, and just listen by sarah dessen. it's a teen fiction but good and cute. :)

Myimmortalgirl 31-08-2014 01:40 PM

Reading Anne Frank's Diary at the moment. I am loving it.

nowhereman 02-09-2014 11:18 AM

^^ hey that's weird cos the next book I'm planning to read is abut Anne Frank but it's her boyfriend's story. I'm not sure of the name, I'll go look now but it looks to be pretty interesting. I've read Anne's diary and seen one if the films too. It's an amazing story about an amazing young woman. I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Right now I am reading a fame Game by Claudia Pattinson, it's abut some rock star's wife, it's ok.

The Queen of Peace 02-09-2014 04:40 PM

I want to read Anna Frank's diary, my friend was reading it when we were on holiday recently. She was so addicted to it.

I just finished The Orpahn Child by Catherine King. I was absolutely hooked from cover to cover, it's so well written. There were a few descriptive sex bits which was a downfall though, I'm really not into that. Currently reading A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson which again is well written but I know a lot of the stuff I'm reading already so I think it's a little below my ability. I'm not gunna stop though, it's a fun book.

To Kill A Mockingbird is next! Can't wait for that.

GambitC13 05-09-2014 10:35 AM

Anna Karenina- Leo Tolstoy. Huge, but good!

nowhereman 07-09-2014 04:44 PM

That Anne Frank book I mentioned and should be starting real soon is called Annexed by Sharon Dogar. I have loads of free kindle books I downloaded but I bought 3 for my holiday next week, they are The Forbidden Floor (Tokio Hotel story), Idina Menzel biography and Unnaturally Green, which is about an understudy from Wicked. I will have more reading time then as I won't have Internet on my phone. I'm looking forward to reading these :)

CrazyAboutMonkeys 18-09-2014 03:10 PM

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Not very good, imho, but might be for you!

Serendipity. 08-10-2014 08:10 PM

I read that as "I don't know what all the fuss is about with Oscar Wilde" and I was about to be outraged. But then I read it properly so you're safe :P

nowhereman 10-10-2014 03:26 PM

I just started on Nevermore by Kelly Creagh

nowhereman 23-11-2014 02:17 PM

Daylighers, the last book in The Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine. I'm sad it's the last book, it's he 15th book so it's been a long but pleasurable journey. I'll miss it. I still have all the books though and there's a new web series of it on youtube as well.
