Aubergine 27-01-2018 07:41 PM

I'm in my hammock wrapped in a heated throw. I do feel better here!

Hey Eska! How goes it?

Hey Free! I hope it goes well. :)

Eska 27-01-2018 07:47 PM

Aubergine, I'm glad you're in your hammock, it sounds cosy.

I'm ok - just on my way home from work. Two days off now!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 07:50 PM

It is cosy. :) It's swings gently and wraps me up in it. I have my throw completely wrapped around me too. Music on and chatting here and I feel a lot more comfortable and less anxious hat I did in my bedroom. I should remember that. :P

Hooray for two days off. Any plans?

Eska 27-01-2018 07:55 PM

I will try to remind you of that it future! It does sound like a very relaxing set up.

Umm I might be going climbing tomorrow? And on Monday my boy-person and I are going to have a day in town.

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 08:06 PM

Hey guys
Im back!

Whats occurin?

Eska 27-01-2018 08:08 PM

Hey Beckie, how are you doing?

I'm nearly home!

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 08:15 PM

Not bad thanks
Tired!

Got anything planned for when you get home?

Aubergine 27-01-2018 08:22 PM

Sounds good, Eska. :)

How was it with your family, Beckie?

I'm tired too. Sleep better be more forthcoming tonight!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 09:24 PM

It's back!

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 09:25 PM

It was good thanks!

Hope you manage to sleep better tonight Aubergine.
Awful when you don't get enough sleep

I was getting a bit worried that RYL wasn't working!!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 09:27 PM

I'm glad it was good! :)

Thanks! :)

You up to much?

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 09:36 PM

Watching Casualty atm
Im so tired though!!

You?

Aubergine 27-01-2018 09:37 PM

Early night?

I'm just listening to music. :) And looking around my OU website.

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 09:46 PM

Definitely will be an early night!
I'd be in bed now if it wasn't for Casulty!

Sounds good!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 09:52 PM

Did you use Adobe Connect when you were doing it? I've just set up my headset for it. Had to listen to my own voice back. I don't think I really sound like that, do I?!

When does casualty finish?

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 09:57 PM

No i never used it!

Finishes in 10 mins.
Cant wait to get to bed!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 10:01 PM

There is a text box, so my tutor said I did not have to speak and could type instead, if I want to. I think that will be my preferred option!

Cacoethes 27-01-2018 10:03 PM

That would be good!
I've always hated things like Skype because my voice sounds weird

Im going to say goodnight now!
Casualty is nearly finished.
Night night all and sleep well!!

Aubergine 27-01-2018 10:08 PM

Night night! I hope you get a restful night. :)

chinahorse 27-01-2018 10:42 PM

Glad I'm not the only one in bed at this time on a Saturday night lol.

Pomegranate 27-01-2018 11:03 PM

Just finished my shift and starting the ‘sleep in’. Night night to those of you going to bed.

Aubergine 27-01-2018 11:12 PM

I will be in bed soon. Do you think you'll sleep? The person I used to support 1:1 on the "sleep" in never used to sleep. I'd hear the door go (there was a contact alarm on it) and out of bed I'd have to jump. I hope you manage to get some rest.

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:13 PM

Hello everyone.

I'm just home from a Burns Supper at church, it was great. I'm glad I went.

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:17 PM

I missed the 10 O'clock shop so I don't have any drink.

Aubergine 27-01-2018 11:28 PM

I'm really glad that you enjoyed your supper. :)

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:31 PM

I'm back from Asda!

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:33 PM

Thanks. I met some of my old friends and I'm going there for worship in the morning. I need to try to get to bed earlier tonight, my eyes are going together.

Aubergine 27-01-2018 11:36 PM

Welcome back!

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:37 PM

Much prefer supermarkets at 9pm.

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:39 PM

I was five minutes too late for the shop tonight and I was at Morrisons earlier today and didn't think to buy beer. I had twelve coronas before going to bed this morning, I need a night off.

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:43 PM

Yeah you probably should have a night off, especially if you're going out tomorrow morning.

I'm glad you enjoyed your evening in the end. =)

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:47 PM

Burns Night is one of my favourite nights of the year, along with a Hogmanay ceilidh. Christians love a good ceilidh.

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:49 PM

What are we watching tonight?

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:51 PM

Can't say I know what any of that is.

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:52 PM

I need good driving home music for tomorrow.... don't know what to download. Hmm...!

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:56 PM

Burns Night is the 25th of January but we have ours on the closest Saturday. basically people get together, eat haggis, turnip and potatoes and recite poetry by Robert Burns.

A ceilidh is dancing for everyone. Traditional two-stepped dances that are done in pairs and groups to Scottish music. It's more fun than I'm making it sound.

nonperson 27-01-2018 11:57 PM

Mmm... haggis and turnip. :ermm:

I'm sure it is good fun.

Cheryl88 27-01-2018 11:58 PM

I'm trying to learn German so I have a CD by AnnenMayKantereit on in the car at the moment. How about Arctic Monkeys? Beautiful South? Five Iron Frenzy?

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:00 AM

Oh and no TV for me tonight. Listening to music.

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:00 AM

Hmmm nah none of that.

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:04 AM

Germany has some really talented musicians. Look up Achterbahn by Clueso and see if you like it.

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:06 AM

But don't listen to me on music. I love Eurovision, another highlight of my year.

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:08 AM

I need English/American music so I can sing along!

I used to watch Eurovision religiously every year and then get together with my internet friends and analyse/rip the piss out of it! Those were the days.

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:10 AM

My dad's away to the hospital with my mum tonight. She's struggling to breathe, not a good sign. The doctor has been out three times this week for the same problem.

I need to get an earlyish night, I've told my brother I'll go and pick him up so we can go and visit her.

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:11 AM

My boss' dad is also in and out of hospital with lung cancer and breathing problems.

What time is earlyish for you?

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:12 AM

I usually follow Eurovision on Facebook and comment on it with people. Some of the acts are awful but there are a few good tunes each year. I like anything with a decent beat.

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:14 AM

I'm currently listening to Puddle of Mudd and having a semi-silent scream-along, lol.

Seem to be rediscovering music from my "youth" lately, it's awesome. =)

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:14 AM

It's awful to watch someone struggling for breath and not being able to do anything. And about half twelve is earlyish, church starts at half ten.

nonperson 28-01-2018 12:15 AM

Should be plenty of time for some decent sleep.

I maybe need to be up and out by 9am tomorrow... or a bit earlier if I can get organised.

Cheryl88 28-01-2018 12:17 AM

Are you going to meet your parents for dinner tomorrow?
