RYL Forums - What book are you reading or just read?

If you hover over the stars on Goodreads it tells you what they mean. 4 is really liked it and 5 is it was amazing. I rarely give things 5 stars because of the description.

Yeah but like I meant, I don’t know the difference between ‘really liked it’ and ‘amazing’!

don't use good reads anymore personally but to us the difference between 4 and 5 stars is like,

would we be happy owning this book and rereading it over and over again and will not let it go from our brain = 5 stars

vs

did we really enjoy it and really like it but happy enough to move on = 4 stars

honestly it's subjective and it's up to you to differentiate which is also why we don't bother anymore and gave up on putting a bunch of stock in reviews also

anyways, we did get the how to adhd book from our library so looking forward to at least skimming through it if nothing else since we really find her youtube channel helpful

Interested to know what you think Lindsay as I bought this for my holiday last year but never got around to reading it. I have it on my bedside chest of drawers. I have only read one murder mystery author but do enjoy them on the telly.
