Didn't buy any in the end. Despite a very patient lady helping me I got too anxious and ran away. Will just stick with the other ones I hate wearing for now.

Can you do me a favour and stop doing lots of short one sentence posts at once shirayuki? It's just that I find it hard to follow when I have to scroll through lots of posts as I am on a phone. Either combine them into one big post or wait until someone posts before replying again. I would be super grateful if you could do that as I am getting stressed out trying to keep up because I might miss someone's important post.

It's ok dont worry too much shriyaki. I am sure that it wasnt intentional. I sense that you are very young so probably didn't realise. I don't know if you're aware but this is a mh site so a lot of us have concentration problems and get confused easily.

A bath fizzer is something that you put in the bath water and it let's out a stream of air bubbles while it melts.

I had had 2 cards already. One is from my friend who I am supposed to be meeting on the 18th unless her husband is really bad that day (he suffers from dementia) so I texted her and said that I haven't forgotten her just that I had planned to give her card when I saw her. Plus I need more stamps but I am going to the post office on either Monday or Tues next week as I have 6 things to post so will pick up some then.

The card is from one of my pen pals.

Hope your post office is less busy than mine was this morning. Had to queue for 10 minutes. Then posted the item but forget to get a stamp. Doh.

I always go to the main town one as I dont like the one in the next village. Plus it's only open part time and I get confused about the opening times. It's not too bad the main one except they always get you to use the self service checkouts which confuse the heck outta me. Like I dont know if it's a small parcel or just a large letter so I expect you to tell me.

It's for my gran cos she is surgically attached to her hot water bottle. And will find this secretly hilarious after telling me off for it being rude.

I wouldn't like to have to use self service at a post office either. I've never even heard of that but I know you can buy postage online and print it out.

Also what I find annoying is the fact that they always ask you what's in it. I understand for overseas parcel since you have to fill out a form and also they have to check that it's not prohibited in that country. But inland ones? I dont fancy saying "two bottles of lager and a glass" to the attendant.

They could maybe just ask if you've checked the list of things you're not allowed to send, although that would take more time than them just asking you what's in it.

Ps the bottles of lager and glass are for Lorraine. It's local lager so she wouldn't have tasted it. She keeps on giving me presents so I thought that I would return the favour.

She's generally ok though she has a cold atm. I discovered yesterday that my brother has had the flu jab this year. It's only my mum in the family that hasn't had it.
