Yeah, not quite the flex they think it is! A bit like Dominic Raab(??) and his "I actually only bullied two people" letter :P
Woahhhhhhh, I only just clocked that post about people seeing internal images!! I need to meet such a person and interrogate them. Also, speaking of animal chat, does anyone else just narrate what they believe their pets to be saying? Me and K are always like "no Bella, you do need your medication today and it's not treat day" and holding full conversations that way :P |
MAJORLY dragging!
I was up at 7am and eagerly awaiting asda opening at 10...what a thrilling life I lead. Only 2 people? Well that's ok then! :tongue2: Oh yes i absolutely do that! I came in from talking to my neighbour and they were up at the cage. I said 'i have literally just given you a plate of grass' because usually when i go out, i get them some. And both me and the vet nurse were doing it yesterday XD |
Sort of but I have real conversations. And I tell him off for interrupting when it's my turn to speak.
|
See that's just normal conversation. Why is that weird? No different to speaking to people o.O
|
It's not weird at all!
I have a lot of weird thoughts though, and the poor guinea pigs hear them all XD |
At least you guys are having conversations with living animals. I have conversations with my soft toy Ducky...
|
Nothing wrong with that!
Are you feeling any better jen? |
I went for coffee with my mum while my sister N did yoga. Now my big sister is here having her hair done by L. I'm going to have to watch doctors later. N is watching Badminton.
|
Sounds like quite a nice day!
|
Yes :)
|
Better head wise, but a bit worse lung wise than I felt first thing this morning. Had a nap which helped with clearing my head, I had a rough night where I kept waking up so needed the extra sleep.
Ducky is a good conversationalist to be fair. Very wise and an excellent listener. Sounds good to get out and have coffee with your Mum Tamo. Sad times that you can't watch doctors yet as N is watching the horse thing at Badminton. |
Jen, if there are no interesting or remotely clever people nearby, it is perfectly acceptable speaking to a toy duck!!! Also if you're having a 'no people'-kind of day!!!
I wish Findus would talk. He only grunts if i attempt to lift him. That is NOT a Sound of fun XD |
At least one thing is better!
I'm sorry your lungs are a bit worse though. That must be frustrating Ducky sounds awesome! I have a rabbit soft toy that I've had since i was born. I cuddle him when i sleep. Pippin used to make SUCH a racket when i picked him up for cuddles! Now he just quietly accepts his fate XD |
Sometimes my partner is nearby, and he is interesting and clever, but talking to Ducky is just easier. Luckily my partner understands and talks to Ducky too occassionally.
Aww Findus! He is a funny bunny XD Grunts are definitely not fun noises. |
Ninja Beckie! I am a bit frustrated about my lungs. I think it might be from opening the window in my bedroom so I have moved to the living room.
I have many soft toys but Ducky is one of my most important. A friend gave him to me for my birthday just as my mental health was going off the cliff and he helped me cope. He has been to every therapy appointment I have ever had. Lol at Pippin accepting his fate XD he probably dislikes being lifted but enjoys the cuddles so reward outweighs the annoyance. |
I could watch doctors on another device but it's nice to be with my other sister.
LR I got Crumpet my first mental Christmas and he's been with me through thick and thin. |

tamo - glad you've had a good day! A certain member of this site just informed me via text that they are so far behind they're watching the Christmas episode of Doctors??? And my mum texted me last night to say she'd just got the the very sad episode about Karen. So I feel relatively less far behind! Glad your nap has helped Jen :) I'm about to go and tell Bella that I agree that it would be lovely if someone made me a hot chocolate and see if K gets the hint... |
Wow they're very behind! Very sad about Karen, I wonder what they will do with Rob.
|
This is pollen time of year isn't it?
Or is that not it? Aww that's sweet. I think he enjoys the treats he get as a bribe more :tongue2: But apparently boys are more affectionate than girls when it comes to piggos. I have had an affectionate lick and nibble from pippin before! Merry is more standoffish. I think that's a pretty blatant hint XD |
Have You Finished Your Work, Jenna?
Also Could Someone Let Me Know The Secret To Not Having Caps Stolen? D= |
I think there are a few ways!
But these tend not to be spoken about on public forums. Because it's a secret :tongue2: |

Long day?

RIP jenna.
Buffet time everyone! |

I snorted XD |

I had indeed finished my work, thank you for being my accountability person, much appreciated! However I must return to work now as I still have 6 big tasks to do :crying: But first, I shall leave you with a little teaser - caps get stolen when you post 20 characters or more in solely caps. I shall leave you to come up with your most elegant ways of evading this rule! Also tamo, same job as I've always done - I can PM you if you don't remember but I like to not explicitly say it on the boards for paranoia reasons! |
Also Beckie sent me an awesome buffet meme yesterday!
|
I did!
It is kinda weird how we do the whole sad funeral bit and then just eat and drink loads. I wonder where that came from? |
Ok so wakes are basically a time to chat and celebrate the life of the deceased.
My dad's side of the family are all irish. So in this case, it involved lots of Guinness. Ohhh that may also explain the plates of roast potatoes! |

Side note: have you and Crumpet seen the Inside the Factory episode about making crumpets? I watched and really enjoyed it and thought you two might too. Quote:

Nourishment after an emotional event makes perfect sense.
And potato is the most emotionally nourishing of all foods. And that may have decided whether I go out later as I'm out of emotional support hash browns... |
I haven't seen it LR, is it available to stream?
|
Ah yes, it has been humid today.
I thought the rain would clear it a bit, alas, it has not. That's true np! Absolutely agree with that! Ohh emotional support hash browns are a must! I actually seem to remember in part of my dream, i got a maccies breakfast, including hash brown! |
Quote:
Hash browns are amazing I always have some in the freezer |
I need all the hash browns.
I think I saw sweet potato ones somewhere once... |
Oooh sweet potato!!!
Guinea pigs can have sweet potato, but normal potatoes are poisonous to them. (Sorry, more guinea pig facts!) XD Definitely should have got some hash browns in my tesco delivery! |
Asda will sell them too y'know ;)
|
L has made for me before shepherds pie with hash browns instead of mash.
|
You should get sweet potatoes for the guinea pigs next shop and hash browns for you Beckie! I bet sweet potatoes have loads of good vitamins for Guinea's
|
They will!
I may get some when i get the money for my old phone. Which will hopefully be tomorrow or Wednesday *crosses fingers* They do! |
And sweet potato is actually counted as one of your five a day unlike normal potatoes, right?
|
Didn't know that!
So that means the sweet potato fries at work count right....? What about the halloumi fries? ;p |
I think there are 'rules' something like you need to be eating some other kind of food along with the sweet potatoes.
|
Damn. That's disappointing!
I do love sweet potatoes though! Sweet potato mash is lovely! |
I don't like hash browns
|
Weirdo
Someone i used to work with didn't like cheese. WHO DOESN'T LIKE CHEESE?!?!?! |
I like the sweet potato fries that have a coating on them, do they all have that.
What's wrong with hash browns, Jenna? Is this going to be another pineapple situation? I like cheese but I'm not wild for it. My brother is a cheese fiend. |
What about cheesy sweet potato mash?
