I got a posh chocolate set filled with different chocolates and champagne truffles. It has chocolate buttons, which I’m eating just now, except they aren’t called chocolate buttons, they are called salted caramel puddles!

Ooo posh chocolates sound lovely! Salted caramel puddles? Cool! I like it.


I have told myself I must do at least a tiny bit of tidying before I am allowed my hot chocolate.

I wish we were eating chocolates and drinking Baileys hot chocolate together. :) It would be a nice way to see in the new year. I don't ever really get lonely, but I've got a lot on my mind at the moment and am not looking forward to at least the beginning of 2018, so some company with you guys would be lovely! Will have to settle for internet company, which isn't the same, but you're still awesome and I still enjoy sitting with you virtually.

I still have not moved a muscle. I REALLY need to do some tidying. My flat is a state. Oops. At 22:15 I will heave myself off of my bed and break down a cardboard box or something!

I broke down a box and washed up a few bits and now I am back on my bed with a Baileys hot chocolate and some chocolates. :)

Excellent! Baileys hot chocolate sounds delicious! I’m going to have a whisky in a bit. I’m still munching on my posh chocolates.

Whisky sounds good! I like a cap full of whisky in a cup of tea. :) Mmm. Posh chocolates. Delicious! My chocolates are cheap chocolates, but they are still very tasty!

I’m glad your chocolates are tasty. My dad and sister gave me lots of chocolates for Christmas. The posh set my sister gave me. She’s so good to me.

Because I'm a MASSIVE fan of Hotel Chocolat and I've had their puddles before. =D

I love hotel chocolat. There’s a shop in Glasgow and I’m always tempted to go in when I’m in town centre.

My dad got me chocolate gingerbread men from there and chocolate liqueurs. I’m not short on chocolate at the moment.

There's a shop here too but I haven't been in town for ages.

They often give out free samples so it's worth checking in regularly!

Ooh I like free samples! I love the chocolates with shortbread and caramel through it. I can’t remember what they are called. The champagne truffles are my absolute favourite though.

Hotel Chocolat is my favourite chocolate, but I've never had their puddles! My absolute favourite chocolate ever is the pistachio and honey milk chocolate slabs that they do. Oh they are so good! There isn't a shop where I live, but there's one in the city and I treat myself whenever I go there.

There is an independent chocolate shop in town and I keep meaning to try it. I don't go into town very often though, but I might make it a new years resolution to pop in there. What a lovely new years resolution to have!

I usually like their Christmas range. And their boxed chocolates, nom.

Usually just nice little snowmen on sticks, that kinda thing! And christmas dessert chocolates. Just good stuff for gifting.

It’s nearly new year! I’ve just poured my whisky. My dad will likely phone after midnight because he knows I’m awake.

My mum always tries to stay up and does something random like sewing/art that she enjoys because she says she likes to start the year as she means to go on.

I'm tempted to go play piano after the fireworks and actually make it a resolution to learn an entire song in 2018.

It is nearly new year! I will get my Baileys hot chocolate ready and we can toast... :) Nice that your Dad will ring after midnight.


My little sister just sent me a text message saying happy new year and that she's really proud of me and she thinks I'm the best person and that she wishes that she was more like me. She's so lovely.
