I've just ordered a new printer.
It was in a sale so like £25 off! Will be nice not having to print stuff off in the library all the time! |
That’s excellent. That will be useful for your studies.
|
I’ve managed to finish my lunch. Kitty is having a sleep.
|
Very useful!
Glad you managed to eat your lunch eventually! Im just back from asda |
Did you get anything nice?
Molly is sound asleep. |
I got a cheeky pizza!
And lots of fruit. I've eaten so much chocolate im really craving fruit now!! Finally watching the christmas doctor who now! Awww! You doing much today other than cat sitting? |
Fruit sounds good. I might get some from the shop. I’ve been eating so much chocolate lately. I got lots of chocolates for Christmas.
Enjoy doctor who. It’s a good episode. I’ll just stay here for another few hours then go home. I need to do some housework. I’m also going to go for a bubble bath tonight with all my nice new lush stuff I got. Pizza sounds good! |
Hello.
Are you going to eat your pizza tonight Beckie? Hope you enjoy your bubble bath Lorraine. I went to spend a Lush gift voucher someone gave me but the shop was mobbed so I left quickly. Buttons, sorry your support is being not very supportive. |
Me too!
It was a good episode! Can't wait for more Lush stuff smells amazing! Hope you enjoy it! Yep I'll be having the pizza tonight! How are you Lindsay? |
Hope your pizza is extra tasty!
I'm ok. Did manage to spend my Paperchase birthday £5 they give you on the rewards card thing. Took me a very long time to decide what to get though. I was going to just buy some thank you cards but I like to choose them depending on the person I'm giving them to and I don't need any right now. Ended up buying a water bottle thing but will probably put Pepsi Max in it instead of water! |
Thanks!
Paperchase is awesome! So many lovely things! If I had a water bottle then I'd totally fill it with coke zero instead of water! |
I love paperchase. I can’t go in there without buying anything.
|
Thats why I have to avoid going in there!
There isn't one near me anyway |
There’s a big one in town.
I might go home soon and have my bath. |
A bath sounds nice!
My nanny just called to see if I'm feeling a bit lonely too. She lives on her own as well and it turns out she was feeling the same way as me when all the family left! Getting used to being alone again now though. And tbh it is exhausting being around lots of people. |
That’s good your nanny phoned you. It can feel lonely after Christmas.
I feel a bit lonely too now, but probably needing alone time too. There’s no pleasing me! |
I know exactly what you mean! Lol!
|
I’m back home. Had a shower instead of a bath, but I used my lush shower gel.
It’s so cold and icy here. I’ve put the heating on. |
Lush shower gel sounds good!
Its a bit cold here. There were tiny bits of snow about this morning. |
I’d love it if there was thick snow. I love wrapping up and walking in snow.
|
Me too.
As long as I don't have anywhere on public transport! |
That’s true. The trains and buses aren’t reliable in bad snow.
|
Yep!
Its annoying. What are you up to this evening? |
I might do a bit of tidying. I’m doing washings just now. And I’ll probably relax and eat more chocolates! I got so much chocolate for Christmas.
What are you going to do? |
Sounds productive!!
I should probably do some tidying too but meh. Been feeling very lazy lately! |
Lazy is ok at this time of the year, you should use that excuse while it lasts!
|
Sometimes you need to be lazy and that’s ok.
|
Good point Lindsay.
It is a lazy time of year! Thanks Lorraine :) Im gonna try and get some stuff done tomorrow. |
Hey there!
|
I’m going shopping tomorrow. I need to by hair dye to do my roots. I might go for a coffee too.
|
Hey Dawn.
|
Hi Lorraine.
I haven't been up to much today. It was nearly 1 pm when I woke up. |
You must have needed the sleep. Do you feel well rested for it?
|
No because I fell asleep since. I am probably sleeping tons because I am taking prn at night.
|
I hope you are ok.
|
Hope you are okay Dawn.
I'm currently watching Miranda does Christmas (I love Miranda Hart!) Someone did turn up very late and I do feel a little guilty because I told her I was unhappy with her being so late but it needed to be said, hopefully she will mention to her company and I might have a shot at someone arriving (at all) or on time until my regular support worker comes back. My dog is currently trying to eat her own tail, I love dogs more, but still think cats might have the upper hand in intelligence :P |
You are perfectly right to say you weren’t happy. I hope you soon get the support you need.
I don’t know. Molly chases her tail and licks her shadow. |
In Molly’s defense, she is still a kitten, so still learning.
|
Ha ha (cover Molly's eyes for this) she sounds more dog than cat *shock horror*
|
She is very playful like a dog.
|
That's sweet :)
My dog has currently gone back under the covers of my bed when she realised nothing exciting was happening :P |
She probably wants to get nice and cosy on this cold night.
I think I’ll fill my hot water bottles. I have the heating on, but I’m still cold. |
*runs in to say "Hello guests who are currently reading this thread, join RYL and join us!"* Wonder what they think of us.
|
I wonder too. Join us. We’re a nice bunch!
|
Hello guests!
|
They probably just think we're a load of weirdos who talk about food a lot
|
But food is THE best topic of conversation.
Speaking of food, I am back from my Cornish Christmas holiday and I had a mahoosive Cornish pasty for breakfast on Christmas day! Best. Breakfast. Ever. |
I don't think I can remember what is in a Cornish pasty.
|
Very true nonperson!
Food is life :p I love a Cornish pasty! Can't remember whats in one but they are delicious! |
Traditional ones are beef, potato, swede and onion all wrapped in lovely pastry.
But they come in all flavours now. Lamb and mint, cheese and bacon (my favourite), steak and ale, steak and stilton, chicken and chorizo... There are even sweet ones like apple and blackcurrent. |
