I'm very pleased that you made sure to write how I am still awesome :p

Ahahaha!!! Maybe I should watch it then!

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 09:16 PM

Cacoethes 22-12-2016 09:25 PM

I had the same reaction from people when I said I was watching Hocus Pocus for the first time this halloween!

I've seen miracle on 34th street on the TV guide but never fancied watching it. It'll probably be on a million more times before the new year so I'm sure I'll catch it at some point!

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 09:34 PM

Beckie I am shocked at you! I thought everyone had seen these things! :P

Cacoethes 22-12-2016 09:59 PM

I will definitely try and watch it though! I'll download it tomorrow and will watch it before Christmas!

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 10:04 PM

We will hold you to that! :P

Cacoethes 22-12-2016 10:05 PM

It had better be good! You've built it up now :p

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 10:24 PM

It is, you won't regret it! Unless you are a cold hearted unreformed grinch with no Christmas spirit :P

Cacoethes 22-12-2016 10:30 PM

I am a slight grinch I have to admit!!
But when chels was over we did watch Elf, the grinch and muppets christmas carol!
I'm less of a grinch now I have Jasmine!

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 10:37 PM

Aww kids are good like that.

Nooo not the mupets christmas carol! Muppets scare me! :P

Cacoethes 22-12-2016 10:44 PM

Yep!! And she's old enough to understand it more as well. :)

Muppets are awesome! I loved muppets treasure island but couldn't find anywhere to download it online and was almost convinced I had hallucinated the whole thing because there was no sign of it!! :P

I'm off to bed now guys.
Goodnight and sleep well! :)

Serendipity. 22-12-2016 10:46 PM

Lol! I think they're terrifying! :P

Good night, sleep well!!

Buttons. 23-12-2016 08:41 AM

Ha ha Hannah your fear of muppets has pretty much been my saving grace for being afraid of the Grinch, why thankyou :P

Buttons. 23-12-2016 08:41 AM

Also morning all!

Buttons. 23-12-2016 08:43 AM

Am also getting slightly overly emotional watching Babe the sheep pig though so I think my street cred is still heading down :P

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 10:14 AM

Haha, glad I could help! :P I met someone else once who wa scared of muppets, it was so nice to not be alone!!

And I think it is totally acceptable to be emotional at Babe! I cry at films all the time!

Buttons. 23-12-2016 10:22 AM

^ You, my dear, are a legend (and should probably have made your muppet fearing buddy your best friend :P)

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 10:32 AM

Haha, I should have!

And yes, yes I am rather legend like :P You are pretty awesome yourself!

Do you have any plans for today Katy?

Buttons. 23-12-2016 11:10 AM

Surviving is my plan of the day :P

How about you?

Buttons. 23-12-2016 11:12 AM

Okay totally didn't jump when on the film Babe the sheep pig the power went out. Slightly glad no one was around to witness-imagine that as a reason for section 'well it all started when I was watching a sheep dog pig and the power went out' :P

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 11:13 AM

*squish* Surviving is definitely a good plan. Anything that might make that easier? Disney films?!

I have to go post some Christmas presents (I know I know, they won't get there on time!) and I have work this afternoon and other than that I just don't know!

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 11:14 AM

Hahaha That would be a good story though! :P

Buttons. 23-12-2016 11:23 AM

Disney is always a winner :)

Hope your present giving goes well, I still have to work up the courage to post a card in response to most of my neighbours-I love that they're friendly, but scrooge as I am I wish they'd be friendly else where :P

Hope work goes okay.

And you're right, would be epic story :P

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 11:28 AM

What is your favourite Disney film? Tough question I know :P

Haha, I understand that feeling! I'm sure your neighbours won't mind if you don't give them a card, but also they will appreciate it if you do manage to! :)

Thanks, I'm sure work will be fine, probably just rather dull today! :P

Buttons. 23-12-2016 11:34 AM

Pocahontas all the way, closely followed by Beauty and the Beast and Lion King...oh and Hunchback of Notre Dame...love lots, but Pocahontas ultimate one :) How about you?

My aim today is to post them through their letter boxes.

Have a fun (if a tad dull) day :P

tiptoes 23-12-2016 11:41 AM

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film!!

Buttons. 23-12-2016 11:46 AM

^ It is Awesome. I think that would be one of my first date questions: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BEAUTY AND THE BEAST??? :P Also have a fair amount of B&B stuff:D

Cacoethes 23-12-2016 11:50 AM

Morning guys!!
I can't really make fun of you guys for being scared at these films.
I have an irrational fear of Ainsley Harriot.

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 11:59 AM

That is weird Beckie! :P How are you today?

Good luck Katy, I hope you manage to do it!

Pocahontas is amazing! Katy I have the Pocahontas thing that you sent me on my bedside table :D I also love the Lion King, though it makes me sob every time!

Buttons. 23-12-2016 03:27 PM

Beckie, you are an oddball, but we wouldn't have you any other way :P

Thanks Hannah, and I'm really really glad you liked the Pocahontas thing so much :) I think you'd have to have a heart of stone to not at least tear up a bit at Lion King

Sketchy 23-12-2016 03:34 PM

Good afternoon all. What is everyone up to? I'm having a cup of tea in a coffee shop before I go to the shops to buy beer to take to my dad's over xmas.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 03:40 PM

Hope you enjoy your tea :)

I'm just being a lazy bugger and staying in with my good friend TV and a few books today :)

Sketchy 23-12-2016 03:41 PM

A tv and book day sounds good to me.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 03:53 PM

Always a winner :)

Sketchy 23-12-2016 03:55 PM

You watching anything good? I plan to have a tv night when I get home. I'm not going to hide in bed.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 03:59 PM

Had a new QI and Who do you think you are (yes I am a geek :P) recorded so watching those for now.

Well done on the bed front I know how easy it is to slip into just going to bed pulling covers over and ignoring things, but so much better ultimately to do something, even if that thing is watching TV.

Sketchy 23-12-2016 04:15 PM

Thanks. You are right. I also want to tidy my flat anyway.

That's a good choice in tv programs. I like QI, but haven't seen any without Stephen fry.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 05:08 PM

Sandi Totsvig or however you spell it actually does quite a good job, I was sceptical of it without Stephen Fry but it is still worth watching imo.

Sketchy 23-12-2016 05:31 PM

I'll maybe watch some on iplayer.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 05:33 PM

Poa, let us know your verdict!

Sketchy 23-12-2016 05:45 PM

I'm home now and fighting the urge to hide in bed. I'm watching 'how I met your mother' on tv.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 05:48 PM

You are doing really well hon, keep up the fight :)

Sketchy 23-12-2016 05:50 PM

Thanks lovely.

Cacoethes 23-12-2016 06:35 PM

Hi guys!
I've had an exhausting day.
Had my blood test and decided to do a bit of shopping as I was in the big town anyway. MISTAKE!!!
Tbh, the shops weren't that busy but it was also market day so the town was rammed!!
Just got home because I had to go to asda. Which was also rammed and annoying because people with trolleys full were going in the self checkout bit which they shouldn't do -.-
Anyway. Home now and game of thrones on and must wrap the last presents.

How are we all?

Sketchy 23-12-2016 06:46 PM

That sounds like a stressful day Beckie. The shops are a nightmare at this time of year. You are home now and I hope you can relax.

I'm ok. Just watching tv. I'm now watching the goldbergs.

Buttons. 23-12-2016 06:47 PM

That sounds exhausting Beckie!!!

I'm still being a slob today :P

Cacoethes 23-12-2016 07:25 PM

Thanks Lorraine
I like the goldbergs. Ive probably seen every episode now!

I'm a slob most days Katy. :p

Serendipity. 23-12-2016 09:16 PM

Being a slob is perfectly acceptable, that is what I do with most of my days off :P

Sketchy 23-12-2016 09:36 PM
