Also no visitors for me, I've just got back from work!

Today is a Nothing day and also a No People Today day for me. Unless you count my partner but he is always here!

Last night was a lot. So today has been deliberately

I just made GF vegan custard creams and assumed you all like to know.

How is that even possible??

Well, GF flour, vegan butter, everything else is normal! I don't like them but made them for K and they report that they are excellent so I'm thrilled =D

There's probably nicer things to spend the time recreating than a custard cream... although I suppose there's a chance that they've been improved by altering the entire recipe... O.o

Edit: not entire recipe but you get the gist.

Wow! I'm in awe of all the GF and vegan products they have now. It's excellent that they're finally catching up with other kinds of diets!

Indeed Beckie! The man who runs a vegan shop up here has been a vegan for like 40 years or something and it must have just been so difficult and not fun even 10 years ago let alone any further back.

Excellent, I make tasty brownies! Need to try out creme egg brownies again at some point where you put a thin layer of what is essentially creme egg filling on the top and then I don't remember what you put on top of that!

Haha! You seem to have such a friendly cat - I guilted my parents into getting a cat one time and he was such a little grump who only acknowledged our existence when he wanted food.

Hey everyone.

Yay for cat chat! Crookshanks is warming my lap right now and purring and I'm having to angle my laptop in an uncomfortable position just so he can put his chin on the arm of the couch. Cats must come first!

I've watched Chicken Run but can't remember much about it. A film with chickens in it sounds dull.

I close my bedroom door so Crookshanks can't go in and destroy and try to eat anything. I'd love to have him in bed with me but on trials he just does the destroying and trying to eat things. And I don't have a partner so get the whole bed and peace to sleep. :-)

Edit: how is your day going Ahimsa? Do you have something tasty for lunch?
