I just had a mahoosive spider in the bathroom. I had to squish it with a shoe

Eek... but poor thing. I grab them with a special spider grabber device and throw them outside.

I know. It was HUGE though and I couldn't deal with it!

Hard to believe but the cat's gone to the next level of "gifting"... Came downstairs earlier to find a dead shrew plonked next to my kettle. Maybe he thinks I won't see them on the floor. =/

My phone is being delivered today!

At least he doesn't ever eat the shrews, he always brings them in whole and mostly undamaged for me. I'd rather he left them on the floor though, it was a bit of a shock first thing!

Yep, it's a major downside of having an outside cat, Lindsay!

I like doing the set up of new phones, fiddling around with settings and customising it all. Plus there are apps now that transfer everything over for you so it's all really easy.

I'm going to wait until I get my new work mobile though which will be an iPhone so if I use that and my own android one for a while I'll be able to decide whether I really want to switch back to Apple or not. I started with an iPhone and have never really gelled with Android. Although I do like that Google syncs everything together with Chrome on my laptop.

Can you use Chrome on iPhones? o.O

The only thing is that this phone only came with a charger cable and no plug bit.
So I have to wait until tomorrow to get one!
It's not a usb like everything else is nowadays

Another thing that's been taken away is the headphone socket but I don't use my phone for music so that's fine. I have an ipod for that!

But you can still get an extra bit to add to allow you to play music through your phone, saves carrying both your phone and iPod.

I like carrying my ipod. I have quite a big bag so it doesn't take up too much space!
And I find listening to music on the phone takes up too much battery

Are they still making new iPods? I haven't heard about iPods for a long time.

Apple has integrated everything into one, you can’t get a separate music account for an ipod anymore without paying for the arcade, apple tv and icloud all for a whopping £15 a month! Which is a pain in the arse if you used to use apple music for £5 a month because of being a student
