Just want to get some food/dinners for the next couple of days. It seems easier to break shopping up into smaller chunks!

It's bright but overcast here.

chinahorse 28-05-2018 01:19 PM

Hope you do manage to get out and get something nice and refreshing NP.

OOoo your kitty is so so cute aubergine! I'm sure his cuddles would cure anything.

chinahorse 28-05-2018 01:21 PM

Does that mean you may be getting some storms NP?

I have cloudless blue skies. I popped the recycling out and its so hot its like being on holiday! Wish I had a garden.

Aubergine 28-05-2018 01:26 PM

His cuddles do cure a lot! :)

It is very warm! It is a shame you don't have a garden, Lillie! I would also like a garden. How's your sunburn?

nonperson 28-05-2018 01:26 PM

Possible storms on the horizon, yeah. We were supposed to be getting them on and off all weekend and the rest of the week but yesterday was fine in the end.

chinahorse 28-05-2018 01:30 PM

My nose is getting redder at a seemingly exponential rate :/ My arms are a bit sore but my chest is calming down. I always forget how pale and blonde I am and that I require sun cream pretty much all the time.

Storms can be quite cool to watch as long s they arent disruptive. Did you guys see the flash floods in birmingham on the news?

chinahorse 28-05-2018 01:33 PM

Just opened my dads spreadsheet for his and my grandparents trip to my cousins weddin. It has 4 pages and I can't stop laughing at it.

nonperson 28-05-2018 01:35 PM

Is he being super organised with the spreadsheet?

chinahorse 28-05-2018 01:35 PM

I seriously wish I could show you guys, its got every scrap of info you'd ever need on it down to aircraft type. I'm dying XD

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 01:44 PM

I guess he's very well prepared then!

I'm having to wait in for the council coming to check my gas. Hope they come soon because I'm not good at occupying myself at home during the day so I need to get out.

nonperson 28-05-2018 01:55 PM

Surprised the council are working on a bank holiday! Or is it an emergency? I hope not.

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 02:00 PM

It's just a routine check. I was quite surprised they're working today too.

One of my cats has peeled the sealant off from around the outside of the shower yet again and the last time the council checked that and wrote it down and put some more sealant on. I'm going to need to remember to shut the bathroom door.

nonperson 28-05-2018 02:09 PM

Strange! Is there something tasty that the cat likes about the sealant?

My laptop just had a major freak out for no reason. The screen went crazy with flashing black horizontal lines all over the place! I pulled the power and restarted, seems to have fixed it!

Aubergine 28-05-2018 02:12 PM

Naughty cat! I hope the council appear soon. :)

Spreadsheet sounds great, Lillie! Hehe.

Just had a panic because my headphones unpaired themselves and I could not get them to work again. All fixed now, but it was nearly a disaster.

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 02:12 PM

Quoting the Poltergeist film - they're here!

He just likes to peel the sealant and throw it about. Think it's the peeling he likes.

That sounds like a huge laptop freak out, are you any closer to choosing a new laptop?

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 02:16 PM

Aubergine, that is stressful. Glad they're fixed. :-) I once went for a walk and spent half of the walk trying to get my headphones to connect to my phone.

nonperson 28-05-2018 02:16 PM

Glad you got it fixed, Aubergine!!

Peeling sealant is quite enjoyable. =P

Haven't really looked at any more laptops, I'm in no major rush... although this has made me wonder about speeding up the process a little!

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 02:18 PM

Yes, I can see why he might like peeling the sealant! He's done it to some of my windows too. :/

Hopefully your laptop will survive at least until you get a new one NP.

nonperson 28-05-2018 02:21 PM

I think it'll be fine for a while longer.

Ugh, the sun's come out.

Aubergine 28-05-2018 02:25 PM

This train is horrifically busy. We're like sardines and it is a million degrees. Only 10 minutes...

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 02:30 PM

Have you got something to focus on Aubergine?

nonperson 28-05-2018 02:50 PM

Has everyone got the same idea about going to the sea for the day?

Aubergine 28-05-2018 02:59 PM

The beach is busy, but I've found a quiet bit. Sat on a rock with my feet in the water. :) There is not a cloud in the sky, but there's a beautiful breeze. :)

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 03:00 PM

Wassup homies

That sounds perfect Aubergine!

nonperson 28-05-2018 03:16 PM

Yo Beckie. How's it going?

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 03:19 PM

Yo!
Im ok thanks.
Just chilling watching House with my nanny
Had a good time visiting my friend in hospital and seeing another friend later!
So much peopling.

How are you?

Aubergine 28-05-2018 03:19 PM

Beckie! How are you?

Aubergine 28-05-2018 03:29 PM

Beckie you're a ninja! Chilling sounds good. :) glad you had a good time with your friend. :)

nonperson 28-05-2018 03:31 PM

So much peopling but sounds like you're enjoying it. =)

I'm ok, watching a bit of tennis and making a shopping list for nice dinners.

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 03:32 PM

They dont call me Beckie the ninja for nothing
:Wearing Sunglasses:

Sounds good np!

Aubergine 28-05-2018 03:39 PM

Hehe! :)

Sounds nice, Person. :) Love a yummy dinner!

RNLI just gave a wonderful display!

nonperson 28-05-2018 03:44 PM

I also love a yummy dinner! And as I'm not doing much with my days I'm more likely to cook something different.

Hope it was just a display and they weren't actually having to save someone. =o

nonperson 28-05-2018 03:50 PM

Look who's turned up. =)

Also... how many houseplants is too many houseplants?

Aubergine 28-05-2018 03:51 PM

Sounds good! What kind of things are you planning?

It was just a display. They announced it and then people were taking pictures with them!

nonperson 28-05-2018 03:57 PM

A puff pastry tomato/mozzarella/pesto/rocket thingy! And a chicken burger with bacon and cheeeese. Not the healthiest of meals or anything fancy but something different that I'm usually too knackered to make.

They are quite impressive, aren't they.

Geordi is so hard to photograph. His face is way too dark...

Aubergine 28-05-2018 04:05 PM

Oh lovely.

Aww cat. <3

I love the houseplants! You can never have too many!

nonperson 28-05-2018 04:14 PM

He's kinda squished behind me now in a weird "it's too hot to be curled up" pose... He doesn't usually sleep stretched out.

I think I could squeeze more in. =P I moved a few around yesterday and it only occurred to me today how many I have in this one room. Also that pic makes my living room look much more massive than it is!

Aubergine 28-05-2018 04:29 PM

Aww. :) you got the heat there too? I don't know how you cope inland!

It does look like an impressive living room!

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 04:33 PM

Houseplants are cool!
I haven't got the space for them unfortunately
Plus I am not a fantastic gardener!

It is flippin boiling!

nonperson 28-05-2018 04:34 PM

Well I'm assuming it's hot outside. I've not opened any windows or doors so far today as my house stays quite cool sometimes because of it's old thick brick walls...!

It's actually really quite small!

I'm logging off now to do real life stuff. Enjoy the rest of your day out! Make sure you buy an icecream because that's a must at the seaside. =P

Aubergine 28-05-2018 04:44 PM

That's a shame, Beckie. I have space, I just kill everything!

Real life stuff? Hmm... Have fun! Good luck at the supermarket. :)

Thanks! I keep moving up the beach, as the sea is coming in rather quickly! I'm on rock number 4 now!

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 04:51 PM

Have fun doing people stuff!!

Bet the beach is lovely.
Always find there's a nice breeze on the coast!
There are loads of coastal areas round here but we reckon it's going to be far too busy!

one_step_closer 28-05-2018 05:00 PM

Someone take me to the beach!

I went a walk to Tesco but the sun was annoying my head so I didn't sit outside and read afterwards like I was going to do.

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 05:30 PM

Hopefully it will start to cool down a bit soon!

Aubergine 28-05-2018 05:33 PM

I had to move from the rocks or I may have drowned. :P

Do you live inland too, Lindsay?

*transports everyone to dawlish*

Cacoethes 28-05-2018 05:36 PM

Not drowning was a fabulous idea :tongue2:

I guess most people would have left the beach by now?

chinahorse 28-05-2018 05:45 PM

Dawlish is so nice! Sounds like you've had a lovely day aubergine. Are you on your way home yet?

Your living room is so impressive NP! Hope your food shopping went well.

Glad you're having a nice time beckie :)

Aubergine 28-05-2018 05:55 PM

I thought so too, Beckie! :P There are lifeguards, but you know, drama. Hah! :P

The beach is much quieter! Made it easier to move from the rocks! I now have a nice spot on the sand. May have to move again though, because the sea is being a troll and will not stay in one place! :P

Hey Lillie! How're you doing? Have you managed to get some rest today?

chinahorse 28-05-2018 06:12 PM

How dare the sea move?! :-P

I'm not well fibro wise but meh.

Aubergine 28-05-2018 06:20 PM

Oh that's rubbish. :( I'm sorry that it's a tough day for you.

I know! How dare it indeed! I can't believe what a fabulous day it is. It's still boiling. Going to move to the wall!
