Cacoethes 13-12-2019 04:58 PM

It looks like it's calmed down a bit out there now

chinahorse 13-12-2019 05:35 PM

Blumming cold though.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 05:44 PM

Very cold!

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:01 PM

It is very cold! I need to go out and collect a parcel.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:05 PM

A fun parcel np?

Well done bouquaise!
Maybe I should try crochet

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:08 PM

New shoes parcel. =)

Also have to pick up a parcel from the sorting office tomorrow but I have no clue what that is... =/

Well done with the crochet, Bouquaise.

How's your Harry Pottering going, Beckie?

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:10 PM

Yay new shoes!
Gotta love surprise parcels

I'm on the second one now

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:17 PM

Two surprise parcels?!

Mine is not feeling like a nice surprise. I'm certain it's nothing I've ordered and my sorting office is a real pain in the backside to get to. >.<

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:20 PM

Oh dear :/

I get surprise parcels sometimes.
Usually buttons sending me something fun!
When I was in hospital she sent me a **** ton of sherbet!

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:34 PM

Ooh yum sherbet! Thats so nice of her. =P

No one other than family have my address! And they don't send me stuff that needs signing for, or stuff at all really... so it's very weird.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:36 PM

It was lovely of her!
And sherbet is awesome

Hmmm that is weird

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:38 PM

OR... I could get it redelivered next Friday when I'm at home! *sudden brain wave!*

tamobhuuta 13-12-2019 06:39 PM

I bought my sister a load of sherbet dib dabs once, she let me have one and it was delicious.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:40 PM

That's a good idea np!

Dib dabs are amazing

tamobhuuta 13-12-2019 06:43 PM

I couldn't find them in shops, had to bulk buy on the internet.

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:43 PM

Ooo yes, dip dabs are great.

A week is a long time to wait for a mystery parcel though!

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:45 PM

I think they had them in the corner shop near the hospital but haven't seen them anywhere else

It is a long time. I think curiosity would get the better of me!

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:50 PM

I'll see how I feel about collecting it tomorrow morning.

Yeah it was a sort of corner shop with a pick n mix that used to sell them near me.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 06:53 PM

Good plan

I think corner shops are generally good for things like that

I am cooking pasta and pesto!

nonperson 13-12-2019 06:55 PM

Red or green pesto?

I feel like I should have dinner now before going out to get my parcel, then I'll miss the traffic. Dunno what to have though, hmmm.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 07:07 PM

Green pesto

Have you got much in?

nonperson 13-12-2019 07:08 PM

Green is best.

Yeah, should be able to find something in the freezer. Think there's a cornish pasty in there.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 07:12 PM

It is!

Ooo yum, cornish pasty!

nonperson 13-12-2019 07:27 PM

It's in the oven now! =D

And I am snacking on cheese, whoops.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 07:37 PM

Yaaay!

Cheese is an excellent snack.
I had marmite cheese earlier

nonperson 13-12-2019 07:38 PM

What a way to ruin good cheese!

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 07:42 PM

Shhh you. Marmite is awesome!

nonperson 13-12-2019 07:44 PM

I'm not judging really. =P I can't even remember exactly what marmite tastes like or actually trying it but I'm sure I have! I do like twigletts though.

nonperson 13-12-2019 07:48 PM

Oh... also looks like I'm not going out after all to get my parcel as the Argos website says the store is "temporarily closed" and they're trying to reopen ASAP. Wonder what's happened. o.o

Good job I checked their opening times...

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 07:53 PM

You can't judge then!! :p
Twiglets are nice. Not had them in years!

Good thing you checked!
Something must have happened

one_step_closer 13-12-2019 08:02 PM

I don't think I've ever tried Twiglets.

nonperson 13-12-2019 08:08 PM

They're weird but so moreish.

Do they really taste of marmite?

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 08:09 PM

I can't remember tbh!

one_step_closer 13-12-2019 08:17 PM

What's the difference between Marmite and Bovril?

nonperson 13-12-2019 08:18 PM

Good question... I don't know the answer. They're both things I don't want to taste.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 08:20 PM

I don't know either.
Never tried bovril!

one_step_closer 13-12-2019 08:20 PM

Marmite is veggie Bovril is beefy. I don't think I like either of them.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 08:26 PM

I should get some marmite

one_step_closer 13-12-2019 08:26 PM

What do you put Marmite on?

nonperson 13-12-2019 08:27 PM

I'm imagining they're like eating sticky stock cubes!

one_step_closer 13-12-2019 08:28 PM

Eww. I think my Mum used to make a drink with Bovril.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 08:33 PM

Marmite sandwiches!

That doesn't sound great

tamobhuuta 13-12-2019 08:50 PM

I love marmite. On a cheese sandwich it's delicious

chinahorse 13-12-2019 08:55 PM

Twiglets dont taste like marmite to me.

Marmite is fine. I go through phases where I want it and then sont touch it for like 6 months.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 08:59 PM

I agree tamo

I'm the same Lillie

chinahorse 13-12-2019 09:12 PM

Also wilko sell a lot of things like dib dabs, love hearts, Parma violets etc

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 09:15 PM

Parma violets taste like perfume

tamobhuuta 13-12-2019 09:16 PM

We've got a wilko in town, maybe I'll visit.

Cacoethes 13-12-2019 09:43 PM

We have a wilko but it's up at the retail park and I don't like walking all the way up there
Though my neighbour works there so I could ask her to have a look for me

chinahorse 13-12-2019 10:03 PM

Sounds like a plan beckie.

Omg I need a house with doors. Cat is driving me insane and I cant shut him away because theres nowhere to shut him.
