I hope you get home soon Emma.
|
Home now :-)
|
Yay, you can relax now.
|
I'm glad that you're home, Emma. :)
Asda came! Hooray. Actual, proper food in the house. Love the Scratch Cook stuff that they do. Need to put it away now. Doom. |
Yay for proper food. And your chocolate orange!
|
:D
*shares chocolate orange* |
Yummy!
|
Yay! Boo for unpacking though :-(
|
Hate unpacking shopping!
Yay for food though!! I've just had a snack. Rather hungry! |
I need to eat. Not had anything since 10.45 this morning cos of work.
|
The cat looks so cute asleep on my lap though that I don’t want to move him
|
You def need to eat then Emma!
It is hard to move sleeping animals though |
Freezer and fridge stuff is done. Got some Scratch Cook edamame beans. :D Also put work uniform in the wash.
Food! Everyone have food! |
Sounds good Aubergine!
I had some snack a jacks! |
Love Snack a Jacks. What flavour?
|
I like vinegar snack a jacks.
Hope everyone is keeping warm tonight. |
Salt and vinegar :)
I've warmed up a bit now! |
It’s supposed to snow here overnight. I quite like the snow.
|
Me too, Lorraine! :)
|
I mean, me too I like that flavour of Snack a Jack. I do not like snow!
|
I'm ok with snow if i don't have to go out in it!
My fav snack a jack flavour is sweet chilli |
I like walking in a flurry, but I don't like it settling. I have very specific snow requirements. :P
I don't think I've ever tried that flavour! |
I like set snow and flurries but not the slush it turns into. No snow here :-(
|
Dinner in :-)
|
That is rather specific aubergine! :p
What have you got emma? |
Well done, Emma. :) What's for dinner?
Work tomorrow. I usually have another three days off! Haha. |
Ugh work!
|
Work is pants. Especially when you're used to havING more days off together.
|
Work sucks! I’ve got two days off and then back for another 24hr shift :-(. Feel your pain!
Had same thing I’ve been having for days lol, cheese burger and salad :-p |
I miss working but still used to complain about work a lot :p
Ooo cheese burger!! You can keep the salad though :p |
Love a good cheese burger!
I love my job really. I just... Would rather stay in bed. :P I'm training our new employee on prescription reception and basic counselling all of my shift. Please keep your fingers crossed that it goes OK! Doing a four hour shift will be good though; I'm used to doing 9 hours! |
Another 24 hours shift so soon, Emma? That is rubbish. :(
Hey Lillie! How's it going? |
Staying in bed is preferable to most things tbh :p
I'm sure you'll be great Aubergine!! I'm going to bed now everyone Night night all! |
Its bloody rubbish and includes a 6.30am shift start. I do have ten days off after though.
I fee for you re training though but yay for 4 hr shifts! |
Night Beckie :-)
|
Hey aubergine. :)
It's all pants. I've done 35 hours in 4 days. And have another 3 days and 15.5 hours to go until a single day off. Its not that much I know but it's too much for me. Sorry just need a moan! Hope it goes ok aubergine Night beckie |
Moan away! Sounds pretty ****! :-(
|
Night night, Beckie. :) I hope you sleep well.
6:30am start? Oh wow, Emma! That's mad. Thanks for understanding the training thing, Emma! We haven't had a new person for about three years, so it's been a while since I last had to do it. Hope I can appear approachable and make her feel comfortable enough to ask questions if she needs to. :/ Moan away, Lillie! Work sucks. I suggest we all go on strike. Do you think we'll still get full pay?! |
I’m sure you’ll be more than approachable and helpful Aubergine but I get it’s still anxiety provoking!
6.30 is not a time I’m used to seeing lol and I shall not be very approachable at that time :-p |
Haha Emma! I can't imagine anyone being particularly approachable at 6:30am. It is not a time that should EVER be seen. :P
I'm hoping that I'll have woken up enough by 2pm not to be a complete grouch. :P |
I’m sure you will have done. Although I plan to still be in pjs then. Did your Mum text today?
|
PJs are so good! I hope you have a good PJ day tomorrow. :) I have been in my PJs allllllll day today. It's been glorious.
Mum didn't text, no. We're meeting for brunch tomorrow though. She's picking me up about 11am and then she's going to drop me at work. Not sure where we're going! Might treat her to it for seeing me through the past few weeks. :) |
That sounds a lovely idea :-)
|
:)
You up to much? |
Right now I’m watching csi and having a glass of wine.
Don’t plan on much tomorrow at all! Have you got anything nice planned for after work tomorrow? |
CSI and wine sounds good. :) What wine do you have?
I'm not sure. I might go for a coffee with my Uncle, Costa or something. He's said he'll pick me up this week. He's a good egg. |
Sauvignon blanc :-)
That sound really nice. It’s lovely how close you all seem to be! |
Nice! How was your burger? CSI finished now?
Yeah, it's good. Uncle is an alcoholic in recovery. He relapsed last year after 5 years sober and spent six months in rehab quite a distance from here - he came out in November. We support each other, which is nice. :) |
Wow, sounds like a strong man :-)
Burger was good thanks. CSI on after this one as well. Don’t think it will be an early night :-p |
Yeah, he is. He's worked really, really hard. He's a bit mad too sometimes (my Dad's side of the family is pretty mental all the way through :P), so gets it. He's an inspiration, really. Just trying to help him to rebuild his life here. He was sacked from his job for turning up drunk, but he can afford not to work, so he's got volunteering with the wood recycling scheme and stuff. :)
Nice. Which CSI is it? No early night after your epic weekend shift?! I hope you manage to get some rest. I have slept so much today. |
