I'm OK, not doing much today, just watching short films on YouTube, bought bacon, eggs, beans & bread this morning. & you?

Sunday's can be gloomy, I'd rather be at work tbh.

At work until 5. Just making my service user a bacon sandwich- making me hungry lol.

that's cool, I work Mon-Fri, volunteer work on Sat, Sun don't do much just eat, watch stuff on YouTube.

Oh no! Does that mean you'll have to try and fin cover now? Surely they've left it late to call in? I'd have a hiss fit if one of my staff did that and all I do is co-run a milkshake bar.

I have a day off and it's sunny and I had nice dreams so I'm happy :)

They called in 15 minutes after their shift was due to start. But to be fair he’s normally really good so can’t be that annoyed. Just means trying to cover his shift and also cover his work load and the other persons until they come in at 10.30. Luckily most of the service users are still asleep so not much to do!

Oh my gosh! I'd give verbal warning for that minimum.
I'm working 11.30-5.30. Because for rea sons unknown the shop opensl half hour earlier and shuts half hour later than literally everywhere else in town.

Mostly animals, mountains, nature stuff... I like doing t-shirt designs.

Just opened a letter from my GP surgery. It's been sat unopened because I hate opening mail, but thought I really should. Apparently I have to have a medication review with the surgery's prescribing pharmacist before they'll issue any more. Just what I've always wanted! :wow:

I'm really hungry... Gonna go out in a bit because I forgot to buy food for tonight and might buy some new blinds too. Got a random spurt of motivation. Saw my friend and her baby again this morning which is always nice and actually meant I had to get out of bed before 1pm...!

Eek, I hope all this bad weather isn't making it's way to me when I go out. It was beautiful blue skies this morning but now getting a bit more grey...

My motivation needs direction! Got too many things I'm trying to do at once... Playing piano, getting lunch, using Dulux Visualiser app to plan paint colours and measuring up for some prints I want to order (making the different sizes available out of paper and hanging them on my wall to see which size I should get!)

Lunch first then I'm going out...

So scatty. Loaded the washing machine but didn't turn it on.

I open my mail but then leave it in a big pile. Or.. actually it's several piles now...

It has stopped raining now and skies are blue!

Mail is not fun. I rarely open mine. It usually get chucked in bin unopened. I should really shred it first, even if I shred it unopened. Someone will steal my identity one day... I don't get much mail. I have online bills for everything, online bank statements etc. This one I knew was from the GP because there was "X Surgery" peeking out of the clear window that your name and address shows through. Stupid post. Why people can't just email in this day and age...


My friend popped in for coffee. We're going to go on a retreat together. :) We're going to talk about it more over lunch on Tuesday. :)

I’ve got 3hrs left. Then my dad (awkward cos we’ve only been in touch since June) is picking me up again and dropping me to my friend’s house to pick up the cat.

Retreat sounds awesome Aubergine, what kind of retreat?

It's good that your Dad is picking you up. Might feel awkward, but it's better than having to travel too far on your own. I bet the cat has missed you. :)


It'll be a Christian retreat, but I'm not sure what kind. My friend has one in mind based on a book that she read recently. She's going to print off all of the information and bring that and the book with her when we go for lunch. :) I'm hoping something very chilled, where we can chat, pray, walk and sleep lots! We could both do with it, to be honest. :)

Someone could steal my identity because I don't shred anything.
But I have such a poor credit rating and no money so they wouldn't be able to get any loans or credit cards!!
