Ooh I need tiramisu! Not with coffee in it though.

Have you had a nice relaxed day Tamo?

I'm putting a bird feeder up in my garden with my support worker tomorrow.

Ooo nice, watching birds is nice.

PJ days are good tamo :-) you find it relaxing?

Tomorrow I'm going on a bear* hunt. Hope to find a big one!
*net curtain rod

Also got too panicky today o need to get the two things left on my shopping list. And I'm meeting a support worker with my cpn.

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 06:51 PM

My mum used to make a nice pesto and pine nut mini pizza!

Good luck on your quest tomorrow Lillie!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can write in a thank you card to the ward?

one_step_closer 08-12-2019 06:52 PM

I hope you find a good curtain rod Lillie and your appointment goes well.

I'm mostly putting up the bird feeder to amuse the cats.

one_step_closer 08-12-2019 06:53 PM

Thank you for all of your support through my recovery journey??? Something like that. Are you wanting to write a longer thing?

nonperson 08-12-2019 06:55 PM

Mmmm pesto.

I didn't know tiramisu could be made without coffee!?

Bird feeders are great. I bought all mine in to wash a while ago so need to put them back out. I love watching all the different birds. =)

My cat mostly doesn't pay the feeders any attention!

one_step_closer 08-12-2019 06:56 PM

I've only ever made tiramisu in high school and they weren't keen on giving teenagers coffee!

Church loves to watch the birds so I'm hoping he'll have some more entertainment.

chinahorse 08-12-2019 06:58 PM

Ahh I wanna get one for that reason too lindsay! Bertie chatter and tweeps at the birds out the window so I think hed like it.

Something like 'thanks for looking out for me while I couldnt' Beckie?

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 06:59 PM

I didn't fancy writing an essay in the card, that'll do nicely! Thanks lindsay!

I also didn't know tiramisu could be made without coffee

Ninja post Lillie!

nonperson 08-12-2019 07:02 PM

I hope you get some entertainment from it too.

Edit: watching the bird feeder, that is.

one_step_closer 08-12-2019 07:08 PM

I write essays in all my thank you cards!

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 07:10 PM

I don't have the patience!

one_step_closer 08-12-2019 07:11 PM

One sentence would probably sum up everything I say anyway.

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 07:25 PM

Sometimes it's nice to make the effort!

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 07:32 PM

I wrote 'thank you for all your help and support through my recovery (even when I didn't want it :p)'

nonperson 08-12-2019 07:39 PM

That's a nice thing to write. =)

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 07:43 PM

I also got them a box of chocolates!
Yay for Christmas and boxes of chocolates being cheaper than usual!

nonperson 08-12-2019 08:20 PM

I need to buy one of the giant tubs of chocolates for everyone at work to anonymously say thank you for letting me steal all their biscuits over the year. =P

Edit: Or rather... for not noticing that I've been stealing their biscuits all year. >.>

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 08:24 PM

Haha!

I have budget digestives

nonperson 08-12-2019 08:26 PM

Mmmm dry?

But then all digestives are dry.

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 08:34 PM

Not when dipped in tea!

nonperson 08-12-2019 08:37 PM

That is very true.

How long before they become too soft and fall in though? =P

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 08:47 PM

There is a certain skill to biscuit dipping :p

tamobhuuta 08-12-2019 08:48 PM

Rich teas are best for dipping

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 08:50 PM

I'm not a fan of rich teas.
Hobnobs are best for dipping imo

nonperson 08-12-2019 08:58 PM

I am really rubbish at biscuit dipping. People have watched me lose half a biscuit in my hot chocolate before... which they like to remind me about because of the look of shock on my face, lol.

But I think if it;s a chocolate hobnob or chocolate digestive it helps to hold it together for longer.

Do they do chocolate rich teas?

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 09:09 PM

Haha!

Yes the chocolate does help to hold them together longer
I don't think they do chocolate rich teas

nonperson 08-12-2019 09:16 PM

Shame. It would improve them.

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 09:18 PM

It would

nonperson 08-12-2019 09:20 PM

Cheese improves them quite a lot too.

chinahorse 08-12-2019 09:25 PM

Haha reminds me of the hobnobs are the marines of the biscuit world sketch :-P

Also sandwich marshmallow fluff and chocolate spread between two rich tea. A MAZE ING.

nonperson 08-12-2019 09:30 PM

I so need to try that! O.O

Haven't had marshmallow fluff for aaaages. Used to make rice crispy cakes with it. Mmmm.

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 09:33 PM

Cheese improves everything

That does sound amazing!
I saw lots of marshmallow fluff in the american section of a couple of the shops I went into yesterday

nonperson 08-12-2019 09:55 PM

I can't remember where to get it from where it's not "American import" prices...

Cacoethes 08-12-2019 09:59 PM

Hmmm. Not sure

tamobhuuta 09-12-2019 10:22 AM

Hello everyone, how did you sleep?

I slept well. This morning I am going to church with my brother, and this afternoon my godmother is visiting :)

one_step_closer 09-12-2019 10:38 AM

My Mum used to melt chocolate and put it on Rich Tea biscuits and let it set.

Morning Tamo. Morning everyone.

I had a rubbish sleep. I hope you have a good day.

Cacoethes 09-12-2019 11:23 AM

tamobhuuta 09-12-2019 12:15 PM

Cacoethes 09-12-2019 12:18 PM

chinahorse 09-12-2019 01:03 PM

Hows things tamo?

Spray you didnt sleep well lindsay.

chinahorse 09-12-2019 01:09 PM

Anyone what way the numbers in fridges work? Like does higher number mean colder or warmer?

not_so_insig 09-12-2019 01:19 PM

I dont know Lillie as it confuses me too.

one_step_closer 09-12-2019 01:21 PM

I hope ward round goes well Beckie.

I also have no idea Lillie. How are you?

How are you Dawn?

chinahorse 09-12-2019 01:22 PM

I used to run a shop that stored hundreds of pounds worth of milk and ice cream that if it melted was my fault and I'd have to reimburse the company and I still have no idea which way means what on the dial.

chinahorse 09-12-2019 01:22 PM

Hows the bird feeder?

not_so_insig 09-12-2019 01:26 PM

I am ok thanks Lindsay

one_step_closer 09-12-2019 01:27 PM

The bird feeder seems to be a hit. The cats aren't that bothered though.

What are you all getting up to today?

Cacoethes 09-12-2019 01:28 PM

Thanks guys

I have no idea Lillie, now you've made me wonder!

I forgot the chocolate and card and only realised halfway into town so I went back and managed to still get the bus with a minute to spare!

not_so_insig 09-12-2019 01:35 PM

That's good Beckie.

I am doing sod all today. I have to have a day a week where I do nothing and see nobody otherwise my mh suffers. Tomorrow I have the hearing voices group, coffee with my friend and going to the post office to post a load of stuff (one is going to Australia and the last posting date is this week).
