I'm enjoying snuggle time with the cat. Who inexplicably always knows its Sunday and doesnt demand food at 6.15am. Didn't sleep at all well though. And am really thirsty so should get up before that becomes a headache.

Cat snuggle time is always nice. How does he know it's Sunday!? Sorry you didn't sleep well though, seems to be a trend today. And definitely go get some water if you haven't already.

No the bat wasn't alive, only had a little wound on its wing. Poor thing. Geordi just came in the cat flap, plopped it down on the floor and was like "Mum, dunno what to do with this flying mouse I caught, you have it!"

When our cat caught a rat the other day he just left it on the patio like he didn't know what to do with it.

Our cats used to leave disembowled rabbits in the barn underneath the horse rugs.

I've had far too many interesting/disemboweled things to count that have been brought into the house... In contrast to Geordi one cat I had brought in a stalk of broccoli though. Not a clue where he got that gem of a kill from!

Did you read about the cat who was stealing mens socks and underwear from their washing lines and bringing them home?

One of our cats steals socks Lindsay, he hunts them instead of animals because they’re all indoor cats. Although I did find his scrunchie under the washing basket yesterday so hopefully he’ll start leaving me clean socks!

My plants keep producing new flowers and its making me really happy

I suppose at least they're your socks and not random peoples!

A pink vriesea with purple flowers, a tiny succulent that looks a bit like an aloe vera, a bigger succulent with round leaves, a white orchid, a grass that's dying, a gerberer that I hope will flower instead of producing endless new leaves and a cactus, apparently an old man cactus but bertie keeps munching the white fluff off it.
