Sounds like a good idea.

I'm going to try really hard to go to sleep before 3 am today because mornings aren't really happening this week!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 12:29 AM

That's really late, but I hope you get a good sleep.

tiptoes 29-12-2016 12:33 AM

I know, I'm more of a night owl than an early bird but for work i have to go bed early so as soon as I get time off I'm like nah I don't need sleep.

I'm starting to realise that I'm not 18 anymore and staying awake most of the night is a bad idea!! haha!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 12:34 AM

I used to be able to stay awake all night but now i need my sleep.

Sketchy 29-12-2016 11:54 AM

Good morning everyone.

I'm waiting on my dad and we are going for a long walk around the parks near me. What's everyone else doing?

Serendipity. 29-12-2016 12:22 PM

That sounds nice Lorraine, I hope you have a nice day,

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 12:45 PM

Morning guys!
How are we all?

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:08 PM

I badly need some distraction-just been massively upset and insulted. Won't go into it here as f&d but oh my days someone post something funny or cute please!!!!

(For more info doesn't cover it all but some is covered in my rant)

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 03:28 PM

I lurveeee you, and so does this puppy!

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 03:28 PM

Hi Katy! Sorry to hear what happened, I read your rv (stalker mode activated!)
*hugs and aardvarks*

Uhhh. I can't think of anything funny! Hopefully someone will be able to come along with something interesting to say because I am incredibly boring!

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:34 PM

Ames I love you and that puppy!!!

Beckie-all I need is an epic aardvark and aardvark queen and I already feel marginally better <3

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:34 PM

Also you aren't the only stalker here *cackles evily*

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 03:40 PM

Aint it a cutie!

I need to go out but it's so cold. Boooooo.

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 03:42 PM

Did you watch this last night bean?

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:42 PM

Put on several layers of mittens and scarfs and buy/kidnap a puppy-my wise advice :P

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:44 PM

I didn't actually Ames but now may have to dig it out after my Blackadder binge :P

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 03:45 PM

I get the family pup to look after tomorrow for a few days. So no need to kidnap one for a while :-p

And really I'm just being a wimp as tesco is only a ten minute walk away.

How dare you not watch the potter!!!

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 03:47 PM

I want a puppy!!

That scene in harry potter is one of my favourites!!

I should go out and get some fruit really but ceeb.

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:47 PM

You jammy git!!!

And I hope you now have sacked off Blackadder and am now watching HP Order. You're RUINING MY LIFE. *doesn't complain much*

Buttons. 29-12-2016 03:48 PM

Same Beckie I LOVE that scene.

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 03:59 PM

:-p

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 04:07 PM

HOUSE!!!!! <3 <3 <3

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 04:13 PM

What a narcissistic babe he is!

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 04:20 PM

Absolutely!!!
I love him so much.
His house backs onto a river so I've considered buying a canoe and just hovering around until he notices me (and then call the police most likely)
Worth it though!! :p

Wonderland. 29-12-2016 04:23 PM

Epic plan! Feed his ego some more and he might invite you in :-p

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 04:29 PM

Haha!! I'll wear him down..He can't ignore me forever!!! :tongue2:

Sketchy 29-12-2016 04:34 PM

Hey everyone. I'm so tired after my walk. Glad to be back in the flat. Hope you are ok Katy.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 04:39 PM

Hi Lorraine! Did you have a nice walk?
It's quite chilly today!

I did. It was chilly but bright and dry. I met this little chap.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 04:44 PM

Awww cute!!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 04:45 PM

There were a lot of them. In my local park there are lots of squirrels and they are certainly not shy. Two of them came running towards us.

I also met this little cutie.

Buttons. 29-12-2016 04:49 PM

Very cute :) little bit scary at times though :P

Sketchy 29-12-2016 04:51 PM

There is a reptile house and indoor gardens at my local park that has spiders. They also have fish.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:01 PM

I haven't seen a squirrel in a long time come to think of it!

That sounds really cool Lorraine! I love reptiles. I want a snake!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:04 PM

There are loads of squirrels where I live.

There were some lovely snakes there too.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:08 PM

I had a lot of squirrels where I used to live because I was right next to the common and there were quite a few trees. Got a lot of hedgehogs and frogs too!
Where I live now it's a little more built up. Which I like as it means much less spiders!

That sounds brilliant!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:10 PM

I would love to see hedgehogs and frogs.

I took this photo ages ago in the reptile house.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:14 PM

It was nice seeing them. But there were a load of spiders nests around my front door which was unpleasant! And the when the leaves fell in the autumn, it was a full time job sweeping all the leaves out of my house!!

Aww cute!! Reptiles are the best!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:15 PM

That does sound like an unpleasant chore.

And lastly I came across two duckies on my journey. Although Glasgow is a city, it has so many parks and green spaces. Plenty of wildlife to see.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:23 PM

That sounds lovely!

Despite being in a rural town, there's not really anywhere interesting to go. There are lots of fields and there is a river at the other side of town but I've never really been down there.

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:25 PM

I bet it looks nice though. I'm in a busy area, but there are a few big parks nearby including a country park that has highland cows and horses.

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:29 PM

These are the highland cows in the other park. This was taken a while ago.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:31 PM

It does look nice. And it's a good area to be in. I'm very lucky to live here.

That sounds lovely. My family live near a country park, the lake is right behind their land and there's a nice park and café and good for seeing lots of birds like hummingbirds. And a lot of people ride their horses there. Jasmine has a couple of times.

Lovely cows!! I remember seeing that type when I went to Scotland (many years ago!)

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:32 PM

That sounds lovely. I bet jasmine enjoys it.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:36 PM

She absolutely loves it! Getting her to leave is a job and a half though!!

Sketchy 29-12-2016 05:37 PM

Haha she obviously likes it there.

Cacoethes 29-12-2016 05:42 PM

Definitely! Especially when the ice cream van is there in the summer. It is really nice in the summer. A nice walk around the lake as well.
A lady in the village has some kayaks she let's us use as well as the river goes right behind her house.
It's a lovely area.
