Oh and tamobhuuta thanks for explaining your signature. I know of The Goons. I remember Harry Secombe doing a religious programme on a Sunday called Highway. It was on when I was growing up.

I've never heard of Highway. The Goons are awesome, I've got lots of episodes on my ipod and I've been listening to them recently at bedtime.

There are some episodes on YouTube tamobhuuta. It finished in 1993 so perhaps you were too young to remember it.

I'll try to check it out. I'm a little bit too young.

I have finally finished my book I started about an month ago. Tbf it was over 300 pages long and I had a week off when I was on holiday. Now to review it on goodreads and then choose my next book.

Did some family history research had fun finding out stuff but because I was having fun ended up overdoing things and now feel rubbish again. Am trying to rest but it's been a rough week which means lots of resting and so I get more frustrated.

Fun fact at least one of the people involved in the Goons was in Colditz. The goons was the nickname they had for the prison guards. And the British officers used to engage in goon baiting which they did for fun / humour and is why the show is named the goons.

If I was in colditz, i would definitely be involved in goon baiting

I had a nice time with my godmother. And a phone call from my new support worker! We're going to meet next week.

My parcel unexpectedly arrived. It was 2 hoodies, and a mystery bundle of 3 tops. They all fit although one is a bit tight.

I am ok. Kinda wishing I had gone to the city centre now as am a bit fed up. I cant make up my mind which book to read next. I have the choice of 4.

Yes unfortunately as it was a mystery bundle of 3 and the other 2 tops fit I have no choice but to keep it. It's my style too pity it's slightly too tight. It's not horrendously tight so will keep it for indoors/being covered so that i don't look like a sack of potatoes going outside.

You can use it as a slightly too cosy layer.

I'm glad at least your pain has gone, Dawn. I have so many rules for what book I'm supposed to read next but sometimes I am allowed to choose any and I have way more than 4! When I used to get multiple books from the library I would read them in order of length, shortest first.

I think that I will read my books in publication order. They are all older than me and bar one first editions.

I am wearing my slightly tight top and my new Mickey Mouse hoody. It's nice and warm. It's dull here outside.

I didn't feel quite well enough to go outside after my rest. Appears that showering was all I really had energy for today. It feels lik a combo of FND causing fatigue and asthma leaving me a littl short of breath and with a faster heart rate.

Watching some YouTube about historical cooking propped up on the sofa. And trying to chill

Switched from historical cooking with occassional memes to comedy history show. Enjoyed both!

And had pizza hut pizza for dinner as neither of us could be bothered to cook.

Now having a lie down and trying to chill.

I don't have a set bedtime I really ought to with chronic fatigue and all but it's just not something I vibe with. Depending on how tired I am / if I got up on time I go to bed between 10:30 pm and midnight. Try to go before midnight but sometimes it doesn't happen. Also it sometimes takes around 3 hours to actually fall asleep.
