I've been freezing all morning because I got drenched walking into work :( But then I had hot chocolate and that helped.

I also got wet this morning too. Wandered off without my raincoat and of course the heavens opened...

I purchased some new glasses today.
Well, they won't be ready for a while but I am looking forward to being able to see properly!
And also it's 2 for 1 so I also have prescription sunglasses for free!

Do people in other countries just accept their weather?

That sounds like a lovely colour. I do like getting new glasses but I always worry that I won't suit them.

I think you will find that I did not loan about the heat :P

I think the weather in other countries is often more predictable and consistent, so less to discuss there! I know that was the case in Africa - there's limited mileage in "oh, it's hot and sunny today! Just like yesterday... and last week... and the week before..." or the rainy season equivalent "Oh look it's raining. Some more. For a change."

They sound like lovely glasses Beckie! I should probably get some new ones sometime because I haven't had new glasses since the style was for them to be narrow...

Im going to see the family tomorrow and on Sunday my neighbour is getting me some flowers to plant in my area of grass out front (not enough to be considered a garden I don't think!)
