Anxious. Got so much to do and have to make phone calls which I hate.

I'm also anxious I have to haul myself to the hospital again for a check on my foot. I'm hoping they will say I can walk on it. Because I'm struggling to look after myself rn and am sneakily walking on it a bit.

Just had my first cuppa since Wednesday. Bliss. Beautiful bliss.

It's at 12. I have all day to wait. Why doesn't uber existing in my home town. The thought of hopping to the bus or ringing a taxi is awful.

I'm here now (after getting lost in the hospital basement for about 15 minutes)
Train wasn't too busy, bus was full of school kids but they were very quiet and we'll behaved! (Shock!)

I've just had bloods and ecg. Apparently the wait for blood results takes 2-3 hours but the Dr will see me before that.

Nope. The shop and vending machines are conveniently located right on the other side of the hospital!
I hate this place!

Doctors and nurses keep going up and down the corridor with notes but they don't seem to be doing anything!

Oh that sucks. Our hospital has vending machines all over the place.

Not fair a guy who arrived way after me is being seen before me and my appointment was 15 mins ago.

I woke up with severe back pain. Nothing I tried could relieve the pain. In the end I ended up taking 2 lots of painkillers and some deep heat. I am in some pain but I consider it moderate rather than severe. It took me twice as long to get dressed and even then I had to use my sock aid because I couldn't bend because of the pain.

Back pain is the worst, maybe a hot water bottle/wheat bag would help?

I'm home now thank god! I have some sort of infection so got anti biotics. They were thinking about keeping me in but thankfully decided not to!!

Woo hoo!

It went well its mostly taken. There's a few dodgey areas but nothing out of the ordinary. Im allowed to go back to the cassel as it's only dressing changes now.

I've just had to spend like 20 quid on dressings though. :( cos my donor is coming off.

Yay about it taking well and going back to the Cassel. Not so much about the donor site. I find the donor site more painful than the actual graft.

Mines not actually been painful bar last night. And I think a lot of tgat is the dressing moving about.

Possibly. I once had a dressing stuck to my donor site for a week (I went to Greece), it hurt so bad when they had to try and pull the dressing off. I almost cried.

I was just browsing Deviantart and I saw a photo and thought 'That man's back looks odd' so I clicked on it and it was a vagina!! :blink: :blink:

I'm knackered now. But at least I was able to pick up some decent food. Probably why I'm tired first tme eating proper nutritious food.
