Those are very good points :)

Although I hate maths, I always admire people that can understand it and enjoy it. It's just been something I've never got along with.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 03:04 PM

Haha Beckie, I did think it felt like a dating site but you just skip straight to the having children part (oh and I'm married to someone else - which would be dodgy territory on an actual dating site I would imagine).

tiptoes 01-03-2017 03:05 PM

I'm that way with English, words just don't make sense at all.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 03:08 PM

Yeah, where I love English and words. I love reading and writing. It seems that people lean one way or the other.

I'm not too bad with Maths, I got a B at GCSE but that involved a LOT of crying.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 04:03 PM

Yeah I don't think being married and going on a dating site is a great idea!

A B in maths is an excellent achievement! I would be elated with that result!

I like English too. I've always been good at English.
It does seem to be either one or the other!
Except for one of my brothers who is good at literally everything. The bastard.

not_so_insig 01-03-2017 04:16 PM

I have been swimming. The last couple of times when I have been it's been dead busy. This time it wasn't too bad. Did 27 lengths which I am happy with.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 04:24 PM

Well done Dawn! :)

Sketchy 01-03-2017 04:32 PM

Well done Dawn. Hello everyone.

not_so_insig 01-03-2017 04:41 PM

Thanks all.

Hi Lorraine.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 04:59 PM

Hi Lorraine! How are you?

chinahorse 01-03-2017 05:18 PM

Hey guys. I keep sleeping :/

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:20 PM

I'm ok. I got out the flat for a second day in a row. Having tea in coffee shop. I need to go to the shop for bin liners, oh the excitement, so I had to come out.

How is everyone?

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:21 PM

Lillie, you probably didn't sleep well in hospital, so you'll have a lot of sleep to catch up on.

tiptoes 01-03-2017 05:22 PM

Sleep is good, the body repairs itself when its asleep plus it is a great way to pass the day! :P

Well done on getting out for 2 days running Lorraine! Enjoy your tea.

I have had one of those days where I have continuously been doing stuff but I couldn't tell you what i have done and now lacking in energy.

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:23 PM

Thanks.

Maybe you need a little rest then.

chinahorse 01-03-2017 05:23 PM

You're both right I suppose jus feel lazy.

Well done lorraine thats fantastic.

Sarah those days are super frustrating

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:28 PM

People are being so noisy in here.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 05:41 PM

I'm not surprised you keep sleeping Lillie, you have been through a lot physically so rest is good!

Well done on getting out Lorraine :)

That's annoying Sarah!

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:46 PM

Anyone up to anything exciting? When I get home I'm going to have a lazy evening with Netflix.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 05:50 PM

Nothing exciting. Just done my maths homework so it's just netflix for me!

Sketchy 01-03-2017 05:57 PM

Well done on getting your homework done. You deserve to relax with Netflix now.

The noisy people have left, so I've bought another cup of tea.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:00 PM

Thanks :)

That's good Lorraine. Noisy people are the worst!

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:03 PM

I know. There is no need for it. It was kids playing hide and seak, screaming and running around the coffee shop while the parents talked at the top of their voices. It's much more peaceful now. I can enjoy my tea.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:10 PM

If I'd behaved like that in public as a child I would have got a good telling off from my parents!

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:12 PM

Me too. My sister and I were always warned to behave beforehand, and if we misbehaved then we were in big trouble.

chinahorse 01-03-2017 06:13 PM

Me too beckie! I don't understand it when parents let their kids ruin it for others.

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:15 PM

It happens quite a lot in here, which is annoying because this is a nice place to have tea or coffee and get the sketchbook out. A lot of people do work on their laptops and stay for a while. I have my sketchbook with me. Think I might get it out.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:18 PM

Noisy kids are the worst.

I especially hate school kids on the bus. Eurghhhh

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:18 PM

When me and my siblings ever went out for a meal, we'd often get complimented by others for our good behaviour!
That was from when we were very young so it's not exactly difficult to get kids to behave.
Lots of kids are just left to their own devices nowadays. It's sad really.

Omg I sound like such an old person!! In my day...

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:19 PM

I couldn't imagine letting E behave like that. Mind you, he's older now.

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:21 PM

Haha, I sound like an old person too. But seriously, in my day I don't think it was that bad.

I hate that on buses too Luna, if they are badly behaved or loud.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:22 PM

I've only met him once but he seems like a very respectable young man!

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:24 PM

When I'm at work, I have a bus full of school kids on the way to work and bus full of school kids on the way home. Seriously makes me homicidal.

Don't be fooled, he's a handful!

not_so_insig 01-03-2017 06:27 PM

I have had kiddies run up and down the bus whilst it was moving. When I was a kid I only went on the bus with my nana who at least taught us that you sit quietly in the seat and don't get up until it was at your stop. I also got a kiddie who wouldn't stop touching my knee once. I mean the whole of the journey not a couple of accidental times. Due to my sa I hate people touching certain parts of my body and I freak out so I spent the rest of the day having flashbacks :-(

I once had a kid who wouldn't stop screaming at the top of its lungs in cafe Nero. I can't stand screaming kids but it carried on for 40 mins. My friend who has kids told me if any of her kids were that age and behaved like that she would have at least taken it outside so that people could enjoy their coffee in peace.

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:28 PM

I just realised it's starting to get lighter later. Will be good when it's light much later. I'm fed up with the cold and dark.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:29 PM

We have teenagers shouting, swearing, shouting at each other across the bus, playing their music out loud, running along the top deck. They're also really bossy, like they own the ****ing bus.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:31 PM

I'm fed up with the cold. Seriously, all my joints hurt. My hands and wrists are constantly stiff and painful. My body doesn't cope with cold. The arthritis in my neck has really flared up too. Gah, roll on summer!!

chinahorse 01-03-2017 06:31 PM

I'm with you on that one lorraine though it does seem to be getting wtter and wetter.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:31 PM

School kids on buses are horrible!
I tend to avoid going out when school is finished and avoid buses at those times too!
Luckily round my area there's a lot of school buses so they don't have to go on the normal buses so often .

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:32 PM

I remember being the person telling everyone to sit down and shut up on the bus in high school haha.

Sketchy 01-03-2017 06:33 PM

We get them on the trains and they run up and down the carriages to avoid the ticket inspectors, and they steal the emergency glow stick things.

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:34 PM

Why do teenagers feel the need to be dicks? Seriously.

not_so_insig 01-03-2017 06:38 PM

We don't get many school kiddies on the bus as they tend to go on designated transport. I used to live by a school and it was a nightmare getting to my flat in the afternoon because they would literally park everywhere and block the pavements. One person left their car once for 45 mins with the radio so loud that I couldn't hear my telly on the loudest setting. It was one of those times I felt like smashing the window just to turn the radio off.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:39 PM

I was getting on a train once and a kid pressed the close door button as he jumped off so it closed in my face! Luckily I got the door open again before the train left!

And another time, a group of girls started proper verbally abusing me on the train. It was infuriating! I was under a suspended sentence though so I couldn't hit them unfortunately.

Teenagers can be such dicks. I'm sure I wasn't like that as a kid!

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:39 PM

What's everyone up to this evening?

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:40 PM

That's awful Beckie. I've had teenagers be really rude to me over the most stupid things.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:41 PM

Kids have no respect anymore!

I'm currently watching the road to El Dorado

[Luna] 01-03-2017 06:44 PM

Never heard of it. What's it about?

not_so_insig 01-03-2017 06:49 PM

I am not doing much except washing my clothes. My mum's mother's day present came today.

Cacoethes 01-03-2017 06:49 PM

It's a cartoon. 2 Spanish con men end up finding el Dorado and everyone there thinks they are gods but the high priest ends up finding out and tries to kill them.
It doesn't sound very interesting the way I'm explaining it but it is a good film!
