How do you lose a toaster?

Got an oven grill you could use instead?

My toaster is broken... =(

Cacoethes 23-02-2021 10:02 PM

I have no idea!
It's just gone!

Yes I could use the grill. That's a good idea.

Oh nooo :(

Carers have been so I'm off to bed.
Good night and sleep well! :)

nonperson 23-02-2021 10:04 PM

I was only introduced to the use of toasters 8 years ago. Always used the grill at home.

Sleep well. =)

one_step_closer 24-02-2021 09:43 AM

Morning everyone, how are you all today?

Runaway toaster?!

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 11:31 AM

Morning lindsay!
I'm ok thanks
You?

Yes a runaway toaster!
Did anyone watch the brave little toaster when they were kids? That film traumatised me!

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 02:06 PM

Never heard of that film Beckie.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 02:13 PM

I don't think it was very well known.

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 02:21 PM

Better than the film about dog poo i bet.

one_step_closer 24-02-2021 02:24 PM

All people and appliances are brave. :-)

I've been busy with going to the chemist, Specsavers, going for a walk with my support worker, and going to Tesco. Now I'm waiting in for a couple of parcels, don't know if they'll actually arrive since it's past the time they were due.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 02:26 PM

There was a film about dog poo?!

Very true lindsay!

Wow you have been busy!
Hope your parcels come.

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 02:28 PM

Yes there is a film called Doggy Poo which is about a dog poo that comes to life.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 02:31 PM

That's insane

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 02:33 PM

Yes it certainly sounds weird.

one_step_closer 24-02-2021 02:34 PM

Is this a new or old film? If it was shown when you were a child Dawn then I would find it really weird but now there are so many toys etc about poo. I don't understand why.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 02:39 PM

Yeah. The poo emoji is very popular nowadays
Jasmine has a remote control poo

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 02:45 PM

Lindsay it dates from 2003 so it's not exactly new but not from my childhood either.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 02:56 PM

2003 doesn't seem like that long ago but it is really

one_step_closer 24-02-2021 03:20 PM

2003 seems like a very long time ago to me.

What is the name of the place you and NP have been getting fudge from? I know I have asked before.

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 03:20 PM

2003 is the year I started hearing voices. Plus I joined here under a different name but I had to create this account for stalker reasons.

one_step_closer 24-02-2021 03:22 PM

Significant year for you Dawn. I was 18 in 2003, must have been at uni too or that could have been 2004 actually.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 03:27 PM

Ochil fudge pantry!

I was 12 in 2003 (I think, my maths is awful!)
Which is around the time I started hearing voices too

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 03:34 PM

I was 22 i think.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 03:40 PM

This thread makes me feel young!

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 04:02 PM

That's good Beckie.

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 04:05 PM

Someone has emptied my wheelie bin and put it back in the same place. It's mighty strange.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 04:06 PM

That is odd!

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 04:09 PM

What is even stranger is that mine is the only bin they have done as I looked in my neighbours bin and that had rubbish in.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 04:15 PM

What a mystery!

tamobhuuta 24-02-2021 04:32 PM

Hi guys, I have good news. I have an appointment with a neurologist to investigate my spasms

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 04:36 PM

That's great tamo!
I hope they can help

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 04:37 PM

Good luck with your appointment tamobhuuta

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 04:44 PM

What's everyone up to?

tamobhuuta 24-02-2021 04:49 PM

Thanks :)

I'm watching friends of course.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 05:00 PM

Of course!

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 05:22 PM

I am watching classic Coronation Street and contemplating what to have for dinner.

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 05:26 PM

Sounds good

tamobhuuta 24-02-2021 05:34 PM

What are your dinner options insig?

nonperson 24-02-2021 05:42 PM

I remember watching The Brave Little Toaster!

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 05:45 PM

I'm glad np! I was beginning to think it was just a weird hallucination I had XD

How are you?

nonperson 24-02-2021 07:19 PM

I don't remember anything about it though.

I'm tired. How're you?

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 07:28 PM

I remember there being a load of animals and they were set to go to an animal testing lab if the guy couldn't find his thesis
And the monkey already had an injury from previously being in an animal testing lab.
It was pretty heavy stuff for a kids film!

I'm ok. Just feeling a bit weird but can't identify how. Which is annoying

nonperson 24-02-2021 07:59 PM

I don't remember any of that! Maybe I blocked it out...

Ah that's a frustrating feeling. =/

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 08:12 PM

Yeah. It was brutal!
I want to watch it now!

It is indeed
I've just watched the taskmaster when they have to make music videos for nursery rhymes. And order a pizza without saying particular words

nonperson 24-02-2021 08:25 PM

I remember the pizza ordering task, what a tough one!

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 08:27 PM

I had soup for tea. I had a soup maker for my birthday so was trying it out. Red pepper and red onion. Was tasty and spicy. Had enough for 3 portions so put one in the freezer.

nonperson 24-02-2021 08:29 PM

What does a soup maker do that a saucepan doesn't?

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 08:30 PM

It was a tough one np!
I kind of feel like trying it but phone calls make me too anxious XD

not_so_insig 24-02-2021 08:32 PM

It does milkshakes and juice too. It blends and cooks soup from raw vegetables so it's less washing up.

nonperson 24-02-2021 08:35 PM

Ahh so it really is an all in one gadget then.

Beckie, I'd be too scared of pissing someone off!

Cacoethes 24-02-2021 08:42 PM

I don't think anyone would be pissed off because you'd just sound either incredibly forgetful or mental so it would be un-PC to get pissed off :p
