I really hope you are all ok. Please take care, I care about you. I'm going to be admitted to hospital so probably won't be around much if at all. Duty are picking me up at 3pm even though I said I'd go on the bus but the bus takes about 2 hours to get there.

Sending hugs Lindsay I hope the admission is helpful and that the car ride with duty isn't too awkward!

My asthma is currently behaving although still feeling pretty fragile. Shall see how it goes over the evening

Plan is to chill a bit. Have a dinner and then meet up for roleplaying online about 7:30pm/8pm.

Morning! (Although does it count as morning if you haven't been to sleep?)

I did not get to roleplay had an asthma attack just before the session started. Had to call the ambulance, they took me to A&E and A&E doctor wants to admit me so waiting around for a bed. Have had a lot of medication.

I am bored... And still in A&E. There was a slight glimmer of hope from the junior doctor that they might be able to send me home but senior reviewed me and am not well enough.

Well different senior has reviewed me because of shift change and he has called respiratory team and is making them come me down and see me and also says he wants them to come up with a plan for if I end up in A&E or on AMU. Because what we are doing isn't working. Was a really good doctor. And he says if after they have seen me he looks on the system he sees their plan and isn't happy with it then he will ring and challenge them. He said he can't imagine how frustrating this is for me and is trying his best to sort something out and if possible get me home today.

Also in more general chat appropriate news there is a dog in A&E with it's owner that is not a service animal. And it is amusing. Because I forget the dog is here and then hear the odd random bark.

Side note I have been awake 26 hours so thinking is a bit off.

Just been to aldi. Been trying to go for days but really did need to go today. Completely wiped me out.

I've just had to go and lie down after my aldi excursion
I hate being so wiped out by simple things

Not risking petting the dog. Sometimes dogs set off my asthma. Also he is in a separate bay to me as in majors not waiting room.

In exciting news I am being discharged home with the good drugs (ipratropium) saw a respiratory nurse, asthma specialist team aren't in today, but she is going to let them know I have been in again and try and get someone to call me later in the week. Just waiting on prescription now.

As someone with chronic fatigue I can totally empathise with the frustration of being wiped out by simple things.

I am glad I am getting to go home too. Although plan is not entirely clear on how I stay home but I do have stronger drugs to try at home now.

Hoping I'll get the results this week. Sometimes they come in the day after, sometimes it can take a few days.

Nope. Cmht have proven they will just make things worse (telling me the exercise isn't excessive and to get to a certain bmi) and all GP can do is refer back to ED services, who will not take me back on.

Have meds, am home and have just got into bed.
I have been awake nearly 30 hours. I am beyond tired but steroids have left me wired and lungs are starting to kick off a little. Taking my inhaler as first port of call. Really hope I can get some sleep even an hour would be something.

Better than yesterday. But very tired and achy. My chest muscles are really sore from having to work so hard to breathe. Have sort of caught up on sleep but not fully. I slept yesterday afternoon into the evening and then a second sleep sometime after 1am until 8am.
