Our cat just mews when he decides it's food time. If he gets overexcited because we're cuddling he starts attacking my hand.

Maybe the answer is to keep them in a barn to catch their own food whenever they want it.

Ours lived in the barn (with adequate warmth) and they did catch their own food! And left the carcasses under all the horses rugs. Always fun cleaning out the barn!
Of course we fed them too

That's kinda what my cat does, except he lives in my house and leaves the carcasses under my bed!

Yep! All animals are awesome. I made friends with cows at work the other day and it was honestly the best bit of the day!

I'm annoyed with my GP surgery as usual. They left me a nearly indecipherable voicemail asking me to call them, pretty sure the word vaccination was in there, so I called back, was on hold for 25 mins before giving up, called back again after work, to only be told they don't know why someone rang me so they'll get someone else to call me tomorrow sometime. It was definitely them. They never seem to know why they've asked me to call! *pulls out hair*
