They are indeed, I'm pleasantly surprised by them, although I might be biased as my friend Dave wrote it. I wrote a bit of a rant (post 583) about them but I think you'll enjoy them as they're much like the series so if you like that, it's all done for you. Because you know the characters already half the work of reading them is done for you. Let me know what you think!

I've read tenth circle, one step closer, from what I can remember - I don't remember books I've read very well at all it was an amazing book.

I've just finished 'Perfect Match' by Jodi Picoult and that was good as well. Most of Jodi's books I can't really get into as I am not religious really and they tend to be so.

As far as I know there are 3 books from series 1 and 3 from series 2, of which Trace Memory (Dave's one I'm reading) is one. I haven't read any others but I'm sure they're all good too. I plan to read more as I'm really finding it an easy read and a page turner, although the concepts involve thought and complex ideas they're good to just relax with!
Hope that answers your questions - I'd certainly recommend this one!

The Trial by Kafka

^ great book, Kafka rocks!

I'm reading The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold (Lovely bones and Lucky fame) which is great, about a woman who kills her mother, and it goes in extracts of her past giving you clues as to their relationship and why she might have done it. I'm 1/3rd of the way through and am really enjoying it.

I'm reading 'Interior Castle' by St Teresa of Avila. I don't expect anyone else will have read it or will be interested, but it's beautiful.
