I have just finished Around the Houses by Amanda Boutler. It is a modern fiction set in Balham. It was very readable and quite addictive. I would reccomend it for a light summer read.

I am now reading Swift as Desire by Laura Esquival. I haven't read much yet, but it looks like it'll be good.

The Death and life Of Sylvia Plath, I can't remember who wrote it, it was a man...I';m just too lazy to go find the book on my bedroom floor.

Requiem For A Dream by Hubert Selby, Jr.

VERY upsetting book. Even moreso than the movie. :(

Just finished reading two.

King Dork by Frank Portman - Pretty good if you're just interested in a fun read. Nothing really interesting except LOTS of words about simple matters.

Six Months to Live by Lurlene McDaniel's

Next up, Crank by Ellen Hopkins...that's suppose to be really good!

Had a reading fest recently, am about to finish "Dont Tell Mummy" and just read "Please, Daddy, No" before that. Excellent books, too sad though :(

I'm reading Marshmallows for Breakfast by Dorothy Koomston.
I read My Best Friend's Girl a while back by her as well, they're both such amazing books!

Finished how to be good by the same guy that wrote about a boy...can't remember his name! It was farily amusing but nothing special!
Now reading Freakonomics which is really intresting and a good introduction to economics if like me you know nothing about it! Also reading another book and i have no recolection of what its called but its not very good anyway!! (Sorry for the ramble there)!!

i havent read a book in a while for leisure. so i recently took a book off my shelf and decided to read it. last time i started reading this book, i only got through the first chapter and had to stop because of studies.
