Morning everyone! I survived my first day in my new job yesterday, it was fairly full on but good! I was introduced to so many people.

I am awake early because my friend has decided to meet earlier than normal. So I set my alarum clock. Unfortunately I woke up too early. I know that I will fall asleep this afternoon so no problems with being awake this early. I am supposed to meeting another friend early tomorrow so no chance of a lie in.

I had a mostly positive and productive day yesterday good meeting with consultant bank stuff sorted and Xmas day stuff to jazz up new place for parents Xmas day lunch got some quite good stuff as There’s a cheap Xmas shop that pops up yearly in town. Also set up one cup kettle type thing which should mean no more burnt fingers due to my grip not being great so win!!

It's not a problem with transport, I'm just not safe being by myself in town for that long.

Fair enough. Maybe you could take some quiet time to pray and reflect at home. There are also several good Christian channels for bible readings, thoughts for the day and hymns etc on BBC Sounds app. Free and well worth downloading imo

Hello all. It's dry here but absolutely freezing. I have been for coffee with my friend and been to the cmht to pick up a prescription. Then I had to walk to the pharmacy which is at the opposite end of the hospital to the cmht. Anyway got my meds now and am home. I am now home and trying to warm up.
