My bus didn't turn up so I had to wait for the longer and later bus.
Which means I will miss my next bus that only goes every hour :plain:

I have had a parcel. Idk what's in it though. I am waiting until I am alone (my mum is here) to open it though.

I have done my housework, except from the vacuuming. Because I started and then it wouldn't suck anything up. I was getting cross with it because I've only had it since he end of June and spent almost 5 weeks not being able to use the thing. Then I looked at the filter and saw on the instructions that it was recommended to clean it out once a week with warm water (it's cordless). So... No vaccuming until the filter has properly dried out! Oops...



That was a long and boring story. I wouldn't say that housework and making Important Phonecalls would be 'having a life' to most people, but to me I'm still getting over the novelty. :P Also, trying to relax on my last Friday before going back to work. :/

Very productive aubergine! And glad you figured out the filter thing. I'm guilty of knowing I should do it but don't.

It's hard to get hoover filters to dry in the months when you don't put your heating on, so then you're left without a hoover for ages I find.

I am getting a new sofa soon! It's coming today! I'm so excited, as the one I've got is not at all comfortable and a bit broken. It was super, super cheap and it's served a purpose, but my Uncle came into some money a part of a pension pay out, and kindly offered to buy me a new one, so hooray! :D

Pleae don't steal it. I have NEVER had a comfy sofa of my own in the 10 years I've been moved out of home. I feel so lucky that I'm getting one now! :D AND it comes in a box and is 'guaranteed to fit' into my flat! That means it's self-assembly, but it's all good. I have a friend coming tonight to help me. I'm paying her in chinese... :D

Ooh, virtual comfort! I'm wondering what things we have in this thread since many things have been brought in in the past. Do they still exist here or do they disappear?

I went to get points put on my card for The Works because it said on my last receipt that they weren't added but when I got there the lady said they had been added so I had went out there for no reason. I don't have any concrete plans for the rest of the day.
