Well they’d told me he would but the nurse said because he wasn’t licking them there was no need. Of course since we got home all he’s done is lick!

I have had another annoying call for a Sheila. Despite me telling them before I am not Sheila and that there's nobody of that name here the social services department continue to phone me. Sigh another number to block.

Really annoying. Been to the vets three times today already! They’ve only got the next size down which I think will still be too big. Trying to work out whether it’s worth the walk there and back yet again’

It’s less than a mile but up a hill. Crisis averted anyway...phoned my mum for advice as she has a farm and she pointed out to me that you can make holes and adjust it. I really have no common sense!

Twice when I've tried to get on it said it couldn't find the server. I was thinking 'Oh no has THAT DAY come and RYL has disappeared.' Such sorrow.

Yeah it’s been doing the same for me over the last week or so.

I feel like we need an emergency plan for if RYL disappears. I'd be totally gutted, this has been a huge part of my life.

Difficult because I've never really been to a sainsburys before! Well, obviously I've been but never done a big shop from there.
Got a good amount. He said to include flowers as well because he was going to send flowers anyway.
So that's nice.
He's really making an effort to be a parent!

I seem to have misplaced my lorazepam but did find some diazepam, along with several medications I have not taken in years.

I did a group relaxation class, then came home and cuddled the cat, then ate something, then came to bed and comfort watched big bang theory. :)

Alec the cat is getting on really well. He likes to be in the same room as me. He often likes to squish as close to me as is possible and he has an amazingly loud purr. It's the first day it's been sunny and I've opened the lounge curtains, and he was basking in the sunshine. Will have to open the curtains for him from now on.

Awwww sounds like he’s settling in really well and loves his new mummy! Has he had his jabs yet?

Leo is ok. He’s quite grumpy and feeling sorry for himself but keeps coming for cuddles (albeit grudgingly- as if he’s saying ‘I’m still cross, don’t let this make you think otherwise- now love me mummy!’

I’m not too bad thanks. No word from CMHT today. Just got into bed but not sure I’ll sleep.

Aww. He sounds lovely! I love how they've got such personality! :) HAs he got to go back to the vet for a check up?


Alec has had his first lot of jabs. He's got the second lot in a couple of weeks. :) He's also been flead and wormed and had a good check over by the vet. He's all healthy and didn't make a fuss about the vaccination. :) He will be microchipped when he's castrated, as it saves him a big needle when he's awake, as he'll be going under anyway.
