Sketchy 13-03-2018 06:42 PM

Hehehe Dawn.

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 06:50 PM

Im not sure nonperson.
I think I read somewhere that they are rescue?

nonperson 13-03-2018 06:53 PM

That would make sense. I'd have "rescued" the ragdoll home with me. =)

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 07:00 PM

There needs to be a dog cafe

Eska 13-03-2018 07:13 PM

Agreed.

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 07:28 PM

I've been to a rabbit cafe.
It was at my friend's uni

Eska 13-03-2018 07:32 PM

That sounds cool.

zombiehunter 13-03-2018 07:37 PM

did the rabbits in the rabbit café taste good??

chinahorse 13-03-2018 07:38 PM

How about a 'small cute and furry animal' cafe?

Moonlight Princess 13-03-2018 08:21 PM

I'd go there! Apparently in some cat cafes you aren't allowed to pick the cats up though - not sure I could stop myself!

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 08:22 PM

Small cute and furry animal cafe works!!

Buttons. 13-03-2018 08:31 PM

If I went to a cat café I'd be sneezing into everyone's brews, so probably best I give them a miss :P

zombiehunter 13-03-2018 08:35 PM

in the cat café do you have to use people toilets or do they have a giant litter tray that everyone and all the cats use??

Buttons. 13-03-2018 08:36 PM

^ Good question.

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 08:54 PM

That is not a good question!

I dispute.

zombiehunter 13-03-2018 09:15 PM

I also dispute

Buttons. 13-03-2018 09:40 PM

And when a zombie disputes, one should listen.

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 10:02 PM

:plain:

Buttons. 13-03-2018 10:23 PM

Grrr?

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 10:27 PM

Grrr?

Eska 13-03-2018 10:27 PM

Grrr!

Buttons. 13-03-2018 10:29 PM

Me trying to join the scary zombie thing...but I'm about as scary as a kitten...oh wait allergic to them so....about as scary as a...marshmallow?

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 10:32 PM

Suppose marshmallows could be scary to diabetics?
Although my nanny is diabetic and she still eats marshmallows...she is naughty.

Buttons. 13-03-2018 10:35 PM

I'd say luckily I'm not diabetic but don't want to tempt fate :P Incidentally tell your nan that there are really nice diabetic friendly sweets out there-I had them when I worked in a sweetshop when back when and they were fit, and I assume sweet science has moved on 10 or so years since then :P

Cacoethes 13-03-2018 10:39 PM

She does know about diabetic friendly sweets.
She just likes her normal sweets. She knows it's bad but doesn't care too much.
Her view on basically eveything is 'I'm old, I've lived this long, I'll do what I want' :p
But she is a bit careful because her mum lost a leg to diabetes

Buttons. 14-03-2018 10:00 AM

Ha ha fair enough. Grandmothers never listen to advice anyway :P It took us long enough to stop my grandma hiding her zimmer frames in the back bedroom because 'she wasn't old enough to need them'-even at one point sending them back :P

nonperson 14-03-2018 11:15 AM

Sometimes diabetic sweets/chocolate have worse nasties in them than a bit of sugar. I avoid them like the plague. Everything in moderation - diabetics are no different. =)

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 12:26 PM

My nanny refuses to use any walking aids at all for the same reason Buttons!
Old people can be so stubborn!

I didn't know that nonperson.
You are right, everything in moderation!

Morning peeps

Aubergine 14-03-2018 12:40 PM

Morning Beckie! And everyone else. How's it going?

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 12:41 PM

Hey Aubergine

I am very tired for some reason

How are you?

Aubergine 14-03-2018 12:48 PM

Can you rest today?

I'm OK. Have had way to much people time though, so am having a day of no people today. :)

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 12:53 PM

I've got a bit of tidying to do but thats it

Day of no people sounds good :)

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 02:54 PM

Quiet in here today
Guess eveyone is out having lives :tongue2:
I live in here

not_so_insig 14-03-2018 03:02 PM

I have been for coffee with my friend. Am back home now but have my nurse coming later.

chinahorse 14-03-2018 03:24 PM

*flops in*

I'm hiding from the world. Ive yelled at everyone I've talked to today :S so probably hiding under blankets is for the best.

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 03:29 PM

Did you have a good time with your friend Dawn?

Hiding is sometimes necessary i think
Thats what I'm doing today

chinahorse 14-03-2018 03:40 PM

Yep!

A whole multipack of quavers and a lindt egg totally counts as lunch and breakfast right? >.>

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 03:41 PM

I had trifle for breakfast so I can't really judge :p

If that's what you fancy then why not!
Although I should be sensible and tell you to eat real food

chinahorse 14-03-2018 03:42 PM

Lol. Right back at you!

not_so_insig 14-03-2018 03:45 PM

Yes I had a good time with my friend Beckie. I have to do some tidying up before my nurse comes and I am not looking forward to it. Someone do it for me.

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 03:50 PM

Tidying sucks
I had to do a bit today
I have a cleaner coming on friday so need to tidy up so she can clean.
Wouldn't usually have a cleaner in but every time i try and clean I've been getting really dizzy and have fallen down the stairs twice becaue of it!
And house inspection on Monday so has to be done

not_so_insig 14-03-2018 03:52 PM

Oh dear Beckie. Better safe than sorry.

chinahorse 14-03-2018 03:59 PM

Oh no beckie. Have ypu seen someone medical ish about the dizziness?
Go carefully love.

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 04:26 PM

I've not seen anyone yet
Kind of hoping it will go away on its own
Which it doesn't seem to be doing so should probably go and see my doc

What's everyone up to?

not_so_insig 14-03-2018 04:36 PM

I have almost finished my tidying up. Having a rest whilst my kitties eat their tea.

chinahorse 14-03-2018 04:56 PM

Go see the Dr Beckie!! And soon. Thts an order.

Thats good Dawn. You have more than 1 cat? I always thought you only had one.

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 05:00 PM

Alright mum! :tongue2:
Seriously though, i will book an appointment.
Need to get bloods and ecg done anyway (which I should have done weeks ago by order of my psych.....) :ermm:

Well done for tidying dawn!

chinahorse 14-03-2018 05:05 PM

Go get em all done in one foul swoop then.

Cacoethes 14-03-2018 05:07 PM

Will do!

What you up to Lillie?
